Using a strong enough power hose can airborne, if not: rip the flesh from your skin and if it's cold enough; burn you as well. The term: so cold it burns. Comes into it.
The main reason I chose Charmander was how difficult he was at the first gym; it was a good challenge after using pikachu ^^
