- I take you guys with me to go fishing from the beach for whatever bites! This is my first time ever driving my e-bike on the sand. This is also my second time ever fishing at the outer banks ! We find some good spots on the bike and then toss lures off the beach to see if anything will eat! There can be so many different fish that we could possibly catch in the saltwater and at a beach at the obxx like this! We ended up finding a loaded spot! I didn't expect this to happen..

@@alexsanchez3570 johns pass, off a couple other beaches in St Pete. got some spots in ft de soto. Then down in captiva we’ve got a place on south seas. I still gotta check out Pass a grille!

Soo...change that lure to a 1oz sting silver in gray/pink and you can get Spanish as well as those blues
With a few zip ties and some pvc pipe, you could probably rig up a decent rod holder for that e-bike.

Blues are a blast to catch. When you’re catching em that’s all you’ll catch usually but it’s like that. One after another. Me and a buddy caught nothing but blues one day. We were pompano fishing and they kept taking our bait so we just tried fishing with just empty hooks and we were still catching them every cast. Was the craziest, most fun day of fishing I’ve ever had. We didn’t get any dinner but omg was it fun

those snapper sized bluefish are very good bait for reds especially when chunked and fresh !

Next summer make a trip up to Rhode Island or Cape Cod if you wanna get into some big bluefish in the surf.
Just a tip id like to share, hooking your fishing pole eyes over time will start to shred your line.

Not a bad vid, dude. I fish Hatteras 2-4 times a year. Blues every cast is common certain times of year. Was baffled initially on where you were. Looks like this was filmed at 3 spots

Love the saltwater fishing, during the whole video I was hoping you would land an 8, 10, 12 blue would be interesting in the surf. I grew up fishing for blue fish in New England, some of the best fighters. Looking forward to more videos in the outer banks.

You can change the hooks on basically any lure. If you want singles just get some hooks and split rings.

Being in north carolina obx definitely shouldve snagged yourself a heaver and conventional reel. Learning curve for sure but thats peak obx fishing esp the point 🤙🏼

Try changing ur retrieve u have to change ur retrieve every cast try jigging next time jig jig pause cuz a lot of the time they’ll hit on the fall

Bro I been going to the OBX beaches for 30+ years and I've never seen anyone ride a bike like that on the beach..(not that those bikes existed back then lol) ....kudos to you for being different :) It worked great
Congrats on a fun evening of fishing! You may have done this but not shown it. If you are surf fishing with bait and you don't get a hit in a while, reposition. If I'm fishing with only 1 surf rod I like to cast out past the breakers, then reel in a few feet at a time. Let it sit and, if no bites, repeat. Often the fish are in the wash, inside the breakers. LOVE the Outer Banks! Take the ferry to Okracoke, hit Howards Pub, drive to the south end and fish the point.

Nice video, looked like a lot of fun, beautiful conditions! I wouldn't bother with the trebles on those metals. Just makes it harder to unhook and release the fish. Single hook is the way to go.
What reels do you use
Back in the early 90s I had gotten my nipples pierced went swimming at my local beach a bunch of baby bluefish snappers started attacking one of my nipple ring my friends thought I was getting attacked by a shark I screamed so loud never went swimming in salt water again .
