    In 2008, a company named Capacity made various bumpers for Cartoon Network dubbed "Noods". These bumpers showed dummy like figurines playing with various colors and would transform into the many different characters from the Cartoon Network shows from the time. Over 40 minutes of bumpers were made for this era. The Noods branding was replaced in late May of 2010 with the Check-It rebrand. This video is a compilation of nearly every non promo bumper produced during this time period. So chill out, relax, and enjoy the 40 minutes of nostalgia. Cartoon Network may have not been the best during this time, but hey, the Noods were pretty neat.

    This video is FAIR USE and I am not trying to profit off of others work. This video exists for the preservation of these bumpers.

    Even though the Noods did brought in live action to replace their classic cartoons, this era actually helped the Ed, Edd n Eddy finale get successful ratings and saved Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies and Pink Panther from being obscure. After that stuff did very well in their ratings, they've decided to go back to making cartoons, starting with Adventure Time. Even if those post-2010 shows were kinda my downfall for the network, at least the network was turning back to normal.

      Watch the bumpers from the Powerhouse and CN City eras and compare them to this. I understand perfectly that you enjoyed this era because of the nostalgia ( as well as this being your first era to watch from Cartoon Network, right?). But trust me, many of us who saw Cartoon Network since it began in 1992 hated this era so much. If it wasn't for Adventure Time and Regular Show that saved the channel, Cartoon Network would have went bankrupt due to the low ratings. Look up the history of and the downfall of Cartoon Network if you don't believe me that Cartoon Network was going downhill from summer 2006-early 2010. Read the comments and you will see why many hated the "Yes" and "Nood" eras.

    • @revomatic8520
      @revomatic8520 Před 2 lety +12

      @@RockNRollSurf Trust me I remember the CN City era as well, I caught it towards the end with their CN City summer 2006 era. and yeah the weird "YES!" era with fred fredburger was so bad and a huge downgrade from CN City, and the fall 06 - summer 07 bumpers were lame too, but when they introduced the noods it was a breath of fresh air from shitty stock footage of their shows thrown together with lazy overlays (kinda like todays CN bumpers) to something pretty creative and the fact that there's almost 50 mins of this is impressive. CN Real was a bad look for them but they did have good shows from 07-09 the real problem was them canceling their ongoing shows. But honestly I would go through peak 2009 CN over current day CN any day at least the schedule had variety. Sucks that 90% of their cartoon cartoons shows got the boot from the schedule but some did paly from time to time, and I'd rather have 10 shows missing from the schedule rather than all of them like today

It also influenced me to use "Cooper Black" (the font that was used for the "Yes." slogan)
      I respect your opinion on the Yes era. Also, Fred Fredburger was a great character in my opinion, considering that he was voiced by and (somewhat) created by C.H. Greenblatt (the creator of Chowder).

    You know, this may not have been as good as the City bumpers but I really do think this was a decent attempt at recreating the crossover aspect of those bumpers. I also love how they made custom bumpers for the lesser shows like Skunk Fu and Chop Socky Chooks as well as Camp Lazlo, a show that ended before this era began. I only wish it continued into the 2010s because I would've loved to see what they do with Adventure Time and Regular Show.

    • @okjeffy6581
      @okjeffy6581 Před rokem +1

      It continued until 2010, but starting on the first day of 2010, they slightly changed the bumpers…

    • @kootunesscrewy
      @kootunesscrewy Před rokem +3

      I think Lazlo was airing a bit more at the time, compared to the others. Though, it would be tone down around early 2009.

    For some reason, the music in these bumpers reminds me of kirby power paintbrush. I think it's probably the synths. Like the theme used on the star wars bumpers reminds me of Drawcia's theme somehow.
