You can try uploading royalty-free tracks. You are legally allowed to use royalty free music inside your videos. I too have a channel where I upload songs (Not trying to advertise), but I only upload *royalty-free (Copyright-Free) songs*.
Hmm. Well, it's understandable that you'd be wary of another strike. What I'm surprised is that this is your first strike considering how much you've uploaded :P I will continue to enjoy your music until your account is terminated or the world comes to an end. Cheers for the effort and good luck in the future!
I appreciate your understanding. The whole situation is quite unfortunate. I absolutely love video game music and wish I could keep uploading more tracks here without having to worry about copyright claims... but... the law is the law, and in the case of music I can understand that it protects the artists. I've been thinking about how to approach finding out which vgm artists would allow me to upload their music. I'm pretty sure I'd have to ask directly, and I feel like I would look like a complete idiot for even asking, so I'm hesitant for sure.
You know what? I didn't even think about that. I think it might be a lot easier to get permission from artists over at OCRemix or something. My dream for the channel was to focus on *original* soundtracks, but if I can't do that, maybe I can do remixes. That's a brilliant idea. This is exactly why I asked if any of you could think of anything.
