I can't wait until Klaus shows himself. He's such an iconic character. So complex.
i hope they watch originals
@@princess4joonnjk It's too early
Yes!
He's interesting, but hardly "complex" 😅
I honestly don’t get why they don’t just tell Jenna about the supernatural. Her boyfriend and the two children she’s caring for are all involved in that world which means she’s involved too whether she knows it or not. Not telling her is just making her more unsafe at this point.
I agree. She wouldn't have invited Elijah in. And so many more stuff.
for the plot ofc
Tbf there always needs to be that one person who doesn’t know. It makes it feel more “connected to the real world.”
The amount of times Damon or Stefan fall for Katherine's shenanigans is laughable. Like stop underestimating her. 🤦♀️
Nina Dobrev as Katherine is undefeated. She’s the final girl of all final girls.
She is SO GOOD cause its crazy that we all hate Elena but LOVE Katherine
@@chiaraserrano6I guess I’m the only one who likes Elena 😭
@@Maddy-wj1yc
Many hate Elena. Meanwhile I’m haunted by future Alaric knowledge that creeps me out to this day. But Elena gets the hate?!?
SURE JAN 😜😂👍🏾
@@B-Dad why do you hate Alaric?
@@rexibhazoboa7097
If you want to know wiki who his love interest is in season 7. It’s a spoiler though and it will ruin what you think of him. 🤷🏾♂️😂😂 IMO of course.
Cannot wait for Klaus to come in. everything gets 10x more interesting when he comes
My favorite out of the orignal siblings for sure.
obsessed with the way you humble jeremy every time he tries to play the tough guy act against supernatural people
14:20 Vicky did NOT like Elena. She was jealous of her happy life and hated her for breaking her brother's heart 😂 Remember when as a Vampire she tried to kill Elena & even before that when she was in transition she roasted Elena and almost beat her up lol
the way everyone keeps underestimating katherine is one of the funniest things about this show, like you rlly think she's dumb enough to give away that elijah can actually die *by accident* ?? god i love her lol
It is indeed a bit ridiculous that Jenna is being kept in the dark. The thing about the supernatural world in books/tv is once you get a foot in the door, you get sucked in further and further. It basically takes over your life. So the "keep them out of it" logic is generally pretty sound across the genre- it creates a kind of narrative trope shielding. It's not completely reliable and certainly not realistic but hey, it's the story rules of supernatural fiction. But Jenna is sleeping under the same roof as the person at the literal and metaphorical epicenter of a magical race war. The "ignorance is safer" trope ain't strong enough to carry that baggage.
the way her ignorance of the supernatural has already led to her stabbing herself and they still didn't tell her
@@deleanorrooseveltRight??? Unreal!
I respect Elena so much for not only stabbing herself in the stomach to fool Elijah into thinking she will turn into a vampire to end the ritual but also for fooling Elijah again and ends up killing him with the dagger. it was such a cool move for her character. I also hate John for trying to get my boy damon killed. he's such a crappy character.
That really was a badass moment from her
it actually makes sense for john to do that lmao, but because we see the show in the perspective of vampires, y’all think he was wrong for that.
Elena was honestly so smart, it's wild people hate her so much
I also laugh so hard at the silent conversation that damon and alaric have about the dagger. the way damon looks so pissed that his secret plan got ruined sends me. it was such an unexpected plot twist for alaric to stab Elijah for the first time.
“I’m picturing [Klaus] in my mind rn.” Once you see him, you can never unsee him!
Bryce: “Burn him! BURN HIM!”
Okay, pyro. 😂🔥
“What war?”
Literally 1864. Damon came back from the war.
Oh, Zuff.
“… I’ll be stuck in here forever.”
That sounds like a you problem.
Katherine is the QUEEN of dramatic entrances/comebacks. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I confess I have a crush on Elijah. He's suave and classy and menacing af. I was shook and found it kinda hilarious how he got merced so suddenly and came back to life only to get merced again 10 mins later in the exact same manner. xD I was like how many times is this man gonna get stabbed? I actually felt kinda bad for him when Elena stabbed him bc he'd kept his word to her about not hurting her loved ones only to get stabbed (lol) in the back by her. Obviously I get why they saw the need to kill him but still.
but the 2nd time he got stabbed in the front lmao
😊 Jonathan Gilbert was wearing one of the Gilbert rings when Stefan killed him. That's how he came back to life
Possibly one of the best episodes of the season, my God, plot twists everywhere! I almost wanna re-watch the reaction, because it's just so good.
Watching atla and tvd back to back is such a great way to spend my friday
Things are now gonna get exciting until the end of the season 3. The originals are super fucking cool can’t wait until Klaus comes thru and becomes everyone’s fav
I don’t really think this is spoiling it but originals can’t die from fire, getting their heart ripped out, getting staked, werewolf bites, or getting their head ripped off.
It’s not spoiling per se but Elijah does explain it to Elena closer to the end of the season
This will be revealed in the next episode.
I’m pretty sure it was also said in this episode but Stefan and Damon drink vervain which is why Elijah won’t be able to compel them.
Or Damon said it to John in one of the past episodes
I love the look on Damon’s face when Katherine gets out of the shower and asks for a robe. I really think Elijah cares about Elena. If anyone can talk to him it would be her.
Vicky was Matt’s little sister. Elena and Matt grew up together and dated up until her parents died.
Vicky was Matt’s older sister
23:30
this moment always makes me feel bad for Elijah because he's a man of his words but is always fooled💔
people mess around with him and then pull the "you're a man of your words" 🐂💩 once they're cornered
Idk what episode it is but the next “dance” that’s the episode I’m waiting for. “I’ll always choose you” moment. That shit goes hard! One of my favorite D moments
He didn't in S6 though, he chose Bonnie
Shhhh lol but that’s character development lol
@@spartacusx9349 Because they were forced to write it like that, we all know Julie hated Bonnie 😆
@@frikadell I know I know especially Julie plec.
Jonathan Gilbert could see who killed him and write about it, because he was wearing the magic Gilbert ring. It was supernatural death - vampire killed a human. So he became alive again.
Elena didn’t think to finish reading😭😭
Bad guy Stefan is much more interesting to watch than moody sanctimonious Stefan.
This really was the Elijah fake deaths episode I don’t think he’s gone either great reaction

Elijah is my favorite character in the whole TVD universe.
I love when Ric, Damon and Stefan team up.🥰
AAAAHHHH you guys are so close to seeing Klaus I can't wait 😂😂😂 I LOVE evil Stefan is the side of him is way better than chill Stefan 😂😂😂 you guys should definitely watch The Originals❤❤❤
From our point of view, the originals are OP with their powers, but from their point of view they aren’t; they are just how vampires should be, because they are exactly that - original vampires. Think of the vampire species as a big family tree, with the originals sitting at the top. With every branch of the tree going down through the generations, the ‘bloodline’ dilutes and becomes weaker. This is where the ‘older you are the stronger you are’ logic comes from. So what we believe to be vampire ‘rules’ is just a kind of vampire evolution as their bloodline gets weaker and weaker through the generations. If the top of the tree is 100% proof, the bottom of it is just like water at this point! Meaning, a particular ’rule’ of how to kill a vampire doesn’t necessarily apply to an original. It’s no wonder Elijah looks at everyone below him as pretty pathetic and arrogant. Which vampire rules apply in this show and which apply to originals, is something of a fun ride you have to find out as the show progresses.
It is an interesting, certainly technical way to view the "magic system" regarding vampires in this show... Which I like; I also like to analyze this stuff... My opinion has some similarities to yours but there are certain things that I think work differently to what you described
SPOILLLERRSS
SPOILLLERSSSS
While I do 100% agree with the overall assessment that the vampires in general are "diluted" versions of the originals, I have a different take on the specifics... To me it's pretty clear that vampirism dilutes not over time, but DIRECTLY after the originals... Meaning that it isn't something that with time the later generations lose more and more qualities; that's clearly not the case... The Originals "undiluted" vampire traits are tied to the fact that they were the DIRECT result of a spell, in this case, a version of the immortality spell... Anything else is just a by product of the original spell that lives in the mikaelson's; and therefor doesn't hold the same amount of magic and of course that doesn't maintain some properties... The reason I say this is that it is pretty clear that it isn't a "generational" thing, because, 1) if it were to be about how far you are to the source (the originals), then that would mean that all the characters we know that have been turned DIRECTLY by an original should be more "pure" and therefor retain some of the stronger qualities of "older" vampires; and they clearly don't... and 2) we've meet the very first people the mikaelsons turned, and they are already diluted compared to the originals; they are strong just because of the fact that they are also 1k years old, but even with them there is a huge gap between them and the originals in terms of strength and specially their vulnerabilities... Now, we come to the point you mentioned about "vampires getting stronger with age"... Like I said, I don't think it's tied to how close they are "related" in terms of generations; I mean, if that were the case then why are younger vampires still getting stronger with time... Caroline in 300 years is going to be stronger than what she is now; if the bloodline is diluting with time then she would be stuck with her current power level... So would everybody else; Damon and Stefan are stronger now compared to when they turned... So my explanation to that it's that we have seen that magic with time gets stronger; that spells get stronger with time... Magic literally seeps into objects or beings and with time it grows and more magic seeps in... THat's why ancient spells are harder to break, because they get stronger with time... So when it comes to vampire, the reason why they get stronger, faster, their senses get better, with time, it's because vampirism and the remnants of the original spell that created vampirism has been seeping into their for longer, growing, settling and soaking in more magic (from nature and natural magic growth, celestial events and such) and that's what make their abilities grow with time... But at the end of the day, as by products of beings that were directly targeted by a spell (the mikaelsons), they are diluted by definition, but they shared the same characteristics as someone/something touched by magic: which is that time nurtures magic naturally
Katherine Supremacy 👏👏👏👏
You have so many questions about the the Originals and I can't wait for you to find out the answers.
he had the ring on him while he died
This is the best season if you ask me, I watched the show till 5th season.
Evil Stefan is way more interesting tbh.
Also Elena was such a badass in this ep 🤌🏻
guys you should start watching the leftovers cause you don't know what you're missing
I hate them betraying Elijah. He seems like a cool guy and someone you’d want on your side.
?? they can’t even trust the originals 😭 and when they did trust them, elijah betrayed them & *SPOILERS* grabbed klaus when they were trynna k!ll him so 🤷🏽♀️
He was literally gonna let Elena die so he could kill Klaus, like ?? Come on
Katherine is so damn smart!
werewoof
my thoughts exactly what would happen if you chopped Elijah’s head off would he grow a new body or head how exactly would that work
Yeah it's one of those things that you have to picture for yourself; it is obviously something that budged and tv rules would make hard and unpractical to showcase... The rule of thumb always is: if they tell you something CAN'T happen except in *this*, *this* and *that* way! then you have to assume that anything else simply won't work... BUT... they aren't going to show every situation 🤣
In the case of decapitation I can also imagine it working similar to when a vamp drowns; Original gets decapitated, maybe the head doesn't grow a body or vice versa, but "the head" would continue to revive itself and die short after until it gets placed back with it's body and then it would heal/attach itself
Cant wait to see yall react to Klaus, THE most iconic character ✨️😊
“Realistically, couldn’t Elijah just compel Damon?”
Ah- but that would be too easy.
It was also explained that Damon and Stefan drink vervain
evil stefan is hot 😌
Not too weird that Jenna called him a friend. My mom called my stepdad her “friend” instead of her “boyfriend” because “they were too old for that”. Although Alaric and Jenna are, like, in their 30s at the latest?
Decapitation does kill normal vampires. But we haven’t found out yet if it’d kill the originals. Although it likely doesn’t, it’d probably go over the budget for them to cgi head being healed back after decapitation
CW did it on another show around same time, same budget, so unless prioritized elsewhere it is feasible. Though maybe this show didn't have that budget yet... only 2nd season. I would have to look it up.
@@trinitybernhardt9944 what show?

@@packedentertainment2866 Supernatural
@@trinitybernhardt9944 oh gotchu, I never got pass the first few episodes of season 1. I heard it gets good though but the effects just took me out of it.
Not enough fire and white oak ash in the world to kill an Original, they need the actual source of the weapon which is the Stake. And the Originals are already so OP they cant be compelled but they can compell everyone else and they cannot be killed unless it the white oak stake and their already the strongest beings to walk the earth. Giving them access to walk into a house without invitiation is giving them too much power and they need something to use to as defense especially since elijah is one of the fathers of all vampires so if he can walk into a house without invitation that would means all vampires can too and nobody would be alive tbhs so i dont see his obsession or point in constantly bringing up why an Original still needs an invite to get in.
U need to watch originals next the spin off of this show Elijah in it
Ah, every time I watch this episode it makes me angry how Elijah was beaten.
Okay, it's a stretch to accept it. At the Salvatore house, although he expected something, it certainly wasn’t a dagger. They were described as rare. Kinda. How did Gilbert find out about them? Spoiler below. Although why didn't Elijah hear Alaric from behind?
With Elena, he did not expect this from her. But again... why didn't he hear Damon in the house? Three instead of two? This should have already alerted him. And for some reason he hoped that his absence in the basement would not be noticed. And why didn't he just keep his word and kill everyone in the house like he promised? He could have easily taken the dagger at that moment and then gone after Elena. Or call her from Damon's phone. It wouldn't take long.
Argh. I guess this is an echo of the fact that initially they wanted to kill the character and he should be weaker. And when the writer-directors changed their minds, they didn't change the script too much.
SPOILER
If at the beginning the daggers were given out as something that could be anywhere, as a rare treasure, or something that could be created, then later it was established that Klaus had them all. And one for Mikael. It was very unlikely that such young vampires would have the dagger, and if they had it, then either Klaus or Mikael was nearby.

❤❤❤ Another great reaction. Yes, Elijah is an awesome character. The writing is brilliant. I'm looking forward to who the favs are by the end. I love this show so stinkin much. I can't choose one I gotta have a top 5.
This episode is for people who say Elena is useless.
Elijah is dagger blind.
Katherine 🔥
watch supernatural
Originals can't compel someone who's drinking vervain, and the Salvatores do. Damon said that to John in the previous episode and we've also seen Stefan drinking it, you should pay more attention.
No one knows that the vampire diaries connects to the originals, explains the originals a lot more and legacies. It’s all connected ❤
The hypocrisy of Stefan part 1
Also I can't wait for Elijah haircut
I loved this Episode. you get to see the real villian in the story. and it's Stefan. you also get to see why Damon's secret is to be human and thats because he never wanted to be a Vampire. EliJah's death unfortunately might bring bad luck to mystic falls in the form of The Originals. I love alaric and Damon's friendship. Very Batman and Robin. Uncle john has to die in the worst way and i cant wait for that to happen. Katherine once again proves why she is the better doppleganger. she's smart, selfish and sneaky.
Poor bonnie. The writers just continue to do her dirty. she's alot stronger in the books than she is in the series and i don't get why.
The combination of Katherine and Damon Duo might climb the Ranks of favorite couple. And I am here for it.
The way yall always talk about Stephan like that makes me laugh coz he’s a menace and starting now you will see he’s not so innocent at all 😂
The way originals were treated in this shitty ass show is just unacceptable...Elijah should have slapped Damon's head off the first time he got staked...except they gave a shitty excuse "Salvatores will protect Elena better" pfff.. it's like,Elijah isn't capable of protecting Elena...😂
Also why tf Elijah going around explaining people how to kill Originals...Who reveals their only weakness??😅
They tried to kill him twice already, and he didn't kill anyone??!!
Yeah, that's exactly how Originals are...😑
Props to team Human, they killed an Original 🤷♀
.Hey Stef ! Just wondering ! Would you have , ever.....I mean EVVVER... revealed the truth about yourself to Elena... the whole truth.... if she hadn't found out for herself ???????????
🙄🙄🙄🙄
Just asking .
Also....
Elena is pretty blase, even after finding out that
Stefan was a monster and a blood sucker, had fed on numerous prople and that he had killed her family member ?
Worse than Damon ,as he himself says.
Girl.....I mean , really !!!!
You brush it aside , just like that ?????
You don't say a word to Stefan about it ????
Also, in this episode, we see that Stefan is the originator of the "feeding on girls" party, and that Damon was only mirror imaging him when he did that in season 1.
The roles are truly reversed, arent they!
the main point here is he WAS a monster.. something that happened 175 years ago. I mean, why would elena hold something he did more than a century ago when he JUST turned into a vampire (mind you, he was a 17 year old teenager) that's kinda stupid. He is not that person anymore. He changed.
Not Bonnie, not Caroline. They made Elena the girl boss chicken vampire and wolf buts, but yet Caroline gets tortured by the wolves she's a vampire with strength.
That's because Elena is smart. Strength only gets you so far
They also made annoying girl boss Elena the shows research expert, not Alaric who is a history teacher and has access to Isabel's research.
@@jjack-zm4sr The journals were Elena’s family journals. That’s why Isobel didn’t know about them.
