Thank you for taking us to probably the most expensive Burger King in the world; the architecture there is so beautiful, especially the 500-year-old town hall.
The people who live there are really lucky, it feels like living in a museum. I'm so glad you went to Egypt, the hotel is gorgeous, thanks for sharing!👍😃👏
謝謝你帶我們去吃可能是全世界最貴的漢堡王;那裡的建築真漂亮,特別是那個五百年市政廳;
住在那的人真的很幸福,感覺就像住在博物館;很開心你們去埃及,那旅館真華麗,謝謝分享!
Just wanted to thank you both for all of the wonderful places you go and share. I love your laid back style. Watching your videos always relaxes me.
It was amazing how few people were on the streets of Basel (and how few were eating Basil). I think I love that city, and I've never been there. There's something to be said for peace and quiet, a place without too many cars and too many people.
@@Brisco1 Thanks, Brian; I feel silly now. I'll fix that :)
I visited Basel in 1996 and remember sitting on the same stairs along the river
Hiya Chris and Carol, you always catch the beauty of any place you visit. You are such a great team. The perfect tour guides. Always relaxing. Wow. The town hall is beautiful. I hope the burgers tasted good for the price. Love it is mainly bikes. So much healthier and safer. Lovely video. Wow. Love the new destination. Nice to see you both in a warmer climate again. I can not wait to see your adventures. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day. 🤗
Amazing! The best couple on CZcams! Thanks 🙏🏻
I almost decided to go to hurghada before Zanzibar but never went because I read a lot about that they take peoples drones at the airport. Maybe that's just Cairo. Some other youtubers had problems in Egypt with their cameras. Did you guys notice anything?
Yeah you can’t bring drones here, we left it at Chris parents place in Portugal. Seems like temples don’t care about cameras although I think you have to remove the external mic so they don’t think it’s comercial filming. Since we film with just cel phones and a GoPro nobody bothers us. Loads of people that are not filming anything have GoPros and cel phones out.
As I'm living near Basel all those places you showed in your video are very familiar to me. Glad you enjoyed this short stopover at my home town. Also in Switzerland almost all restrictive covid rules have been stopped. Have a good time and enjoy your stay in Egypt.
Hi Martin, we are flying to Switzerland from the US in a month for a 2 week stay in the Jungfrau. What specific Covid Certificate do need to enter Switzerland now?
Jumping Places, I hope you exploring Egypt!
I guessed Morocco would be the next destination.Looking forward to seeing Epypt.Bye bye, cold Europe.Hello, warm winter 🌞😎
Hi Chris and Carol, Wow! I cannot wait to see your Egypt travels. From icy cold enchanting Iceland and now to hot and exciting Egypt! Thanks guys for all the amazing work you do.
My husband recently stumbled upon one of your videos and now we’re watching them every day 😀 . Your videos are awesome, I feel very relaxed after watching them. Keep posting.
Wherever you two go the sun always shines! Ah nice, back to some heat and beachwear! ☀️🥰
Catching up on your videos this weekend after a lot of work and also some travelling. Switzerland is so amazing. I have been to Zurich and Grindelwald and also a short stop in Lichtenstein. Amazing beauty. Europe has so much to see. I visited my last country on mainland Europe in the end of june, San Marino. Choosing now between Lebanon and Iceland or maybe Morocco. I have 2-3 weeks during the autumn to take off from work. Before this day is over I hope I will get to you Lebanon videos. You are still my favourite youtubers. I think one reason is that I always have travelled the same way as you do. I now have gotten celiac disease. Will see how that goes. Been on three trips with it and so far nothing more than some hassle sometimes to find somewhere to eat. :-) Keep up the good work!
Welcome to our country Switzerland - even though only for a few hours. Glad, you enjoyed it. Happy travels!!!!
I love this video. A happy relaxed travel day. And then EGYPT. I’ve been to Egypt twice. One of my favorite places on the planet.
I haven't been to Egypt since the 70's, I'm looking forward to seeing your videos!
Beautiful! Another beautiful video. I love the old architecture all around Europe, so much history. Thank you for sharing, many blessings on your travels 🙏.
Before watching I'm guessing Egypt next! Happy Travels
Always eating when your headed somewhere new! Looking forward to the next series my friends
Just catching up with the last few videos. Iceland looked amazing, loved all the trekking you guys did. Excited to see what Egypt has in store, I’ve never been but I do have photos of the pyramids from when my older brother was in the military back in the early 90’s.
Chris and Carol, you guys should visit Luxembourg. Did you know that about 15% of its population is Portuguese. No kidding, look it up. I think you both will love Luxembourg for sure.
OMG, you are in Hurghada! I spent much time there during the Iraq gulf wars in early 90's. I was on a ship there, I flew out as well. I did a lot of scuba diving. Hurghada was great 30 years ago, inexpensive and un developed.
Good day guys. Great view from the plane. Thanks for sharing your journey to Switzerland before going to the next continent. Enjoy your trip.
I was there in Switzerland in 1963. Still looks as clean as ever! Love it! 🤙
Basel looks really cool, I like the vibe I get from seeing how the people are living. The whole Rhine river system has amazing towns and cities. Hope ur having a good time in Egypt, definitely try to do a Nile cruise, maybe the Red Sea too?
So excited to see your videos from Egypt!
Beautiful city Basel. Can't wait to see Egypt!
Looking forward to your videos from Egypt!
The buildings in Basel are so well maintained. Those airports took me back in time walking outside to board the plane. Egypt is a great choice. Should be a great time and you will be much warmer. Thanks for sharing.😎
Wow, you really are "jumping places". Have a splendid time.
The well-preserved old town of Basel with its numerous buildings, some of which are spectacular, bears witness to Basel's more than two thousand years of history. Before our era, Basel was already inhabited by the Celts. The strategically favorable location prompted the Romans to station their military contingents on the cathedral hill around 30 BC. The founding of the university in 1460 was particularly influential for the development of the city. According to the 2019 Mercer ranking, Basel is one of the ten cities with the highest quality of life in the world. If you live in Basel, you will find practically everything right on your doorstep: museums, restaurants and clubs as well as well-kept parks and playgrounds.
Love joining you on your wonderful journey. Thanks for sharing!! 😊
Hi Chris and Carol, thank you for sharing your layover day with us. Can't wait for you to search out Hurghada City, it's history, people and food!! I hope you love it as much as we do!! Keep safe!! 😘
Nice! Love travel day vids, from the airports to the food costs, airfares, transport cost etc, all the nuts n bolts of real travel

very nice, looking forward to see nice places in Egypt. Enjoy your stay there guys x
was in Basel a few yrs ago, was super!!
Looking forward to watching the new videos, so far looks amazing on instagram! 🌊
Thanks for bringing us along!
🌞Amazing price on the burger king, talk about sticker shock.😲 In Russia you can get a big mac meal for $3.89, I don't remember what that is in Rubel's? In America it is $8.69 for a whopper meal. I guess, bon appétit in French. The artwork on the big red building was amazing and beautiful, 500 years old and the murals are still clean and vibrant, Carol is right, the colors on it are fantastic. The buildings all around are are so nice without doubt Chris. OH WOW! the roof on the cathedral is sooo cool looking and the church its self is wonderful. Funny how it is warm their and it is snowing, cloudy, windy, and cold. Enjoy that beautiful day over there my friends. If you didn't say continent, I would of thought France for the wine, but you only stopped over in France. Then I thought Morocco, I never would of thought Egypt at al as I would of done Morocco myself. Lots of famous people live in Morocco like ABBA singer Anni-Frid Lyngstad who is married to a prince. Well I really liked the quick walk about through the streets of Switzerland. Thank you for the beautiful video filled with wonderful sites.🙏Please be safe while you are in Egypt and have fun💑😎
Yes, the Basel-Mulhouse airport is on French soil, but the French train station is on Swiss soil, as if that weren't enough, there is also the "Badischer Bahnhof" of the German railways, also on Swiss soil. It's no wonder that the trams operated by the Basel public transport company go to France and Germany; so, a tram company that connects 3 countries (where else in the world does that exist?).
The banks of the Rhine are definitely a place to hang out, but as soon as it gets warmer people also go swimming in the Rhine, which is very popular in Basel.
So to catch a German train you need to exit the airport from the Swiss exit?
@@lizzyimberi9261If you take the plane to Basel Mulhouse and you want to travel with Deutsche Bahn, yes, that's right, take the Schwiss exit, go to Basel by public transport and get on a Deutsche Bahn DB train, either at the SBB station (depending on the situation). which then continue from there to the Badischer Bahnhof) or the Badischer Bahnhof (also accessible by public transport).
Very beautiful bassel
I am traveling with my Colombian friend, to Phuket this week, has been quite a process, he had to apply for the Thai visa in Lima Peru, first time out of the Americas for him, we travel through Madrid, Doha. Because no USA visa, the trip cost twice since he can not transit through the USA.
Hey, nice to see you on the Rhine! Should you ever come to Cologne, would be nice to meet you and guide you around! - Have fun in Egypt!!! 😄
I have been to Cologne in 2013, visited a friend who lives in Duren, would love to go back and see more of Cologne and Duren. :-). Jumping places (Carol and Chris, they produce very nice vlogs always), love them xx
Love those Easy Jet orage wings and low prices :-) Love your channel
Hello guys thanks for sharing.Keep safe always...
Just love the vibe in this video.
Fantastic 😊. Can't wait to see your future videos in Africa. 💕
We made a point of walking down the river to the point where the 3 borders meet & had a beer while standing in 3 countries.
I always wait for your videos to upload 🙂
lol, Carolina is always looking at her phone in the hotel room
You could download offline maps with google maps...
Nice place Switzerland. Never been to Basil but I've been to Bern and other places. Bought a beautiful Swiss made coco clock, Swiss Mac giver style knife and alarm clock at bucheron excuse the spelling. Thank you both. Keep travelling.
OH-OH- It's Egypt! A word of warning- I've travelled to almost as many countries as you guys but Egypt, despite being very beautiful and full of interesting sights- is my least favourite one. Why? Because you will get constantly ripped off. It's the biggest " you're a tourist, ergo you are a walking wallet-I'm going to rip you off" -attitude country in the world. Be extra careful when you pay in cash. they like giving you the lower denomination banknotes in change, hoping you won't notice.
Hurghada is a package tourist destination, you d be better off in Dahab in the Sinai peninsula, at least that's got a bit of a backpacker vibe. Luxor and the Nile/ Valley of Kings also really stunning and super interesting. Sadly it was all spoiled by the constant rip-offs. Be aware of this, guys, to avoid any unpleasant surprises, and you will have a great time:-)
My daughter is in Egypt on a holiday right now.
super! i was in egypt. i was in sharm el sheik. waiting for your adventures 😍😍👍👍
maybe Southafrica/Namibia after ? Eastern Africa is interesting, too ...Mocambique would be easy languagewise, but right now a bit tuff for traveling...
WOW!! What an amazing trips 🥰 we enjoyed Iceland very much, Thanks tour for the stunning footages. Paris also great even Basel. We are looking forward to the mystery next stop. You are doing well with a lot of love. Warm greets from Holland, Jaco and Trudy
EGYPT!!
Need to visit El Gouna which is 30 minutes by taxi from Hurghada
Excellent tour.
Loved it.👍😊
Always following you guys. 👍❤️
Great vlog!

Welcome in Switzerland, Willkommen in der Schweiz: it's nice to be here in Switzerland.... it will be better if you visit Zurich 👌
आप के लिए तो एक Like 👍 बंटे हे भाई
good luck 🤞 Happy journey bro
iam from North east 🇮🇳
Thanks for sharing 👍😍
How do you go about with visas, you did mention visa on arrival but i think it depends which country you visit and where you are from…looking forward to your videos about Egypt, keep safe
Egypt ♥️♥️♥️.. the most amazing country in the world
Hi beautiful people,
Switzerland is beautiful and expensive.
Anyway have a good time always .
God bless, guide and protect you both always.
From Chicago USA
When you are going to visit the swiss alps I recommend to travel through the country by train. There are several Panorama trains like the Glacier Express, the Panorama Gotthard line and more.
I am looking forward to your videos from the "New continent" ... Africa I guess :)
Enjoy !
Wow, I was going to guess Morocco. :)
Interesting to know airport is split between France and Switzerland
Happy journey✌️
you must visit bali island
Haven’t seen this episode, yet. But based on the title I’m guessing it’s South Africa!
Next year, could you do Carnival?
Hello, I was at this El Palacio hotel in Egypt. Watch out for the hotel boys, they use your perfume. Sail to the reef with a small boat, there is snorkeling and diving. Bye Bye :)
Muito bom vídeo... música muito, muito boa.
Clima perfeito! Azul, céu azul....
7:04 -> Ooh! Auréola radiante Carol.....
9:49 -> This is what happens when you stay neutral during 2 World Wars....
13:45 -> Africa?!!?!?!!! 16:48 -> ..wrong guess.
What an experience. New subscriber!
Whopper with cheese, extra cheese, no ketchup. Yum.
Very nice video 👍
I like better your recent travel videos where u show more places of interest than your past videos showing beaches only. To me, beaches appear all d same, at least from what u usually post featuring CArol’s beach body. Just my opinion tho’. I like d usual inclusion of cost or price… gives us idea of travel expenses. Thanks for your posts!
Hi guys are you planning to be back and visit us here in the Philippines? you haven't yet completed touring the remaining 7100 islands
Safe travel.
Just a note, Basel is pronounced Baseeeel, sounds more romantic too 😝. As in eel. My guess it’s Africa your going? Probably Egypt 🇪🇬. Man 26€ for a sandwich😣. Wow I guessed right, good to see things are slowly getting back to normal. Enjoy Egypt, my Auntie lived in Port Said in the 1950’s, amazing country!
Cool living here new shorter hair
hi, great channel. Question, I'll ask here so not to get in a 'who's better' thing.
For a young retired where would you recomend 1st between Rio di Jenero or Buenos Aires to live? Thx
I'll be in Panama the next two weeks the and decide. I've been reasearching both extensively and may go to Rio until October then AR
Great, love to watch you
