Super interesting design rigger Ive made some in polystyrene then stiffened the ride surfaces in 1mm ply, Will that stuff take a skin?

That is the exact replica scale down of the systems catamaran that was a real vessel and I believe you can probably find live action videos of that catamaran. That model is from I believe the Grupner company out of Germany. they used to also have power systems available for that catamaran. One of the power systems was the 775 electric motor and the other was a dual 550 electric motor set up both used a cable drive to an inboard outboard Rutter system and I believe you can probably find, the model and the actual full-size vessel. It’s vintage and a classic.

I actually did just that to get the proper paint scheme. The Graupner kit would have you paint the entire bottom of the hull white, but if you watch the 1986 video, you can see that the white on the lower sides is only a stripe; the entire boat is black.

Hey Dr. Jet, I don't watch all your videos, so forgive me for asking if you've gone over it, but when you were talking about a laser that really piqued my interest. It sounded like you had gotten it. Are you using it? Have you done a tour of it?

I have it, but I'm having software issues. Most likely operator error. I haven't touched it in a while out of frustration. All my current/existing construction projects are nearly done (NeuMotor for the T-3 is shipping), and when there are no construction projects demanding attention, I'll go back to it. Stay tuned, it's still in the works.
