How are you enjoying your boat? Any issues or things that a potential buyer should know or be aware of?

I took delivery of my 223FC March 2019. I chose the gray interior with the gray or silver fencing. I hung the Mercury 200 sea pro with Mercury vessel view (amazing feature). Upgraded the trolling motor as well. The dealer delivered the boat as promised knowing I’d find some new boat stuff that would need to be addressed. We identified several items that the dealer addressed right away. Some we found early and some at the end of the first season. Ranger honored the warranty every time and replaced the things that needed to be addressed, I have zero complaints about Ranger at all. The only thing I’m not completely happy with is the factory kicker stereo, when your under way at a higher speeds you can’t hear the radio so if Ranger is reading this please install a better sound system. It’s a quality product at a great price point which is better than a lot of the mid level class boats that I believe The 223FC falls into. The thing I like best about it is I NEVER see a boat like mine on the water so I constantly get stopped on the water or the ramps with people wanting to check it out. Most people say they had no idea Ranger had a pontoon and they want one. The powder coated toons make all the difference in the world. The newer models have a locker built in to the center toon for skis etc. This is our 3rd boat season in GA/AL and it still looks like new and fires up every time. I would highly recommend purchasing a Ranger pontoon especially when you compare it to the price point and quality of its competitors. If you want to ping me on the side I can walk you through some of the warranty items I had to deal with. Some large some small but Ranger stepped up every time. Good luck!

We have had our 2021 Pontoon for two weeks and the Bimini bent so we took it back to the dealer and waiting to see if they are going to cover it under warranty. They asked if we hit a bridge or has anyone been sitting on it. The answer is no.

Man I’m sorry to hear it. I’ve had the opposite experience with Ranger. I’d try taking it to another dealer and see if they can help you out. I think the service dept has to in some cases advocate for you to make sure the issue is fully explained to the manufacturer. Hopefully the rest of your experience has gone well.
