Kathryn, thank you for helping me see that I'm not a failure for having a cluttered house. Your quote, "If its not dirty enough to slow you down, it's clean enough" really hit home. I have 5 year old twin boys, a 13 year old daughter, a husband who works a lot, and I just transitioned to a new position working from home. I feel like I should be able to get more done now that I'm home, but I'm quickly seeing that's not the case. We are all busy and I try to not loose sight of what's important...my kids and watching them grow. The mess will always be there but the kids won't.

As a mom of four, I love to see the clips where the kids are there. That's what my cleaning looks like every day! I love that you reminded us that it's ok to be "clean enough" and not to expect perfection at all times. It's very unrealistic to expect a perfectly clean house all the time and it sets us up for feeling like permanent failures. I agree that the we need to keep that perspective and celebrate what we ARE doing and focus less on what we haven't done . . .yet. We will get to those things when we can. ♥️

I read your comments. It's great that you take care of your parents. You are a good daughter by doing that and giving back. Please never forget that these moments are ones you can never get back.
Just remember to love through all the hard times and frustration.
      Good times too!
I was my Dad's caregiver and he recently went to go be with the good Lord Jesus Christ. God rest his soul.
Please don't ever feel bad or pushy for advocating for your parents. You are the best advocate for them because you *know* them.
They told us that Dad died of covid, but the death certificate, (when we finally got it) said natural causes, which makes waaaayyy more sense anyway. I always doubted that he had covid-19 and it just didn't add up.
Anything you want to know about your parents or about their life or about yourself, ask them right now if they are in mind to tell you, if not, just love and care anyway and make peace with knowing that some things you won't know, until you go be with God.
Please know that God loves you and your parents and that He wants Heaven for us all, but we have to repent and accept Jesus Christ and obey him in order to get there. It's called having salvation. We must follow Acts 2:38, that's the scripture in the Bible that gives us instructions for salvation.
In Jesus name, receive salvation and your parents too.❤️❤️❤️

I was Daddy's caregiver until he went with Jesus just recently.
Forgive and receive forgiveness right now.
Love, literally, like you never have before. Time is too precious.
Take time to do what you want to do for your Dad now. Don't wait.
Enjoy your family and love even more.

Mad respect for the honesty sweetie. I feel like sometimes people just enjoy making someone feel bad about not having a perfect life. I clean the way my Grandma did. One day a week I clean one room thoroughly and then straighten the others. Like Monday will be the kitchen and laundry room. Tuesday, the living room etc. It saves me being exhausted and still makes sure I'm not ashamed to have guests. Thanks for the great hacks as always

My house used to be clean and organized like yours. Life happened and chronic illness kicked in for several members of my family. They’ve never once said “Remember how clean and organized our house was?” They remember the fun times we’ve shared together. You can clean up things when it’s convenient but you cannot replace that time when one of your children wants to just sit and talk. That time is precious and limited. Take it from me who has been a super cleaner most of my adult life. You aren’t going to take your labeled cabinets with you or the smell of a freshly cleaned house. You will take with you the memories and love that you shared.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey Katherine, I love your videos and I've been a fan for years. Just a heads up, fabuloso isn't a disinfectant. It is a great multipurpose cleaner but if your intention is to kills germs it's not going to do that. I'm not just pulling this out of nowhere. It states this on their website "It's a great deodorizing multi-surface cleaner. The regular fabuloso doesn't sanitize or disinfect, but there are other fabuloso products for that". If you want a product from this brand that does, they have the Complete line that does disinfect and kills bacteria and viruses. Sorry for the criticism, I just figured you would probably want to know and your viewers should know as well since your video claims it does.

One great tip I got from Tik Tok was for under cabinets (especially sink cabinets). A landlord was showing how to protect sink cabinets from water damage in rentals, but it works so well to make them easy to wipe down and keep clean! He used peel and stick vinyl tiles in sink base cabinets to make them water resistant in case the sink leaks. Simply clean the bottom of your cabinet really well, lay them out like you would for a floor, install, then caulk around the edges! It worked SO WELL and I have done our large kitchen sink cabinet and two vanities with one box of tile!

I run around more than 8 hours a day. Get mad at my husband when he gets home and his day is done. I start my day at 4:50 am and still going till about 10 pm. I do take breaks here and there, but my home never looks as clean as Our Beloved Katherine's home. In the sense of clean and organized. I am a "stay at home wife & mommmmmmy." That's what my children tend to call me Mommmmmy, not just mom.🤙 😜🙃 My husband works 12 to 16 hours days/ 6 days a week sometimes 8 days a week. He is a very hard worker and his work is labor intense. He often offers to help. I get mad at him if he even thinks of using the microwave, cooking is my job so, I'll put the food items in the microwave for him. So the poor guy can't win. When I got chronicle sick everyone started to help me with our home, I stupidity felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. So my family ask if it's OK to help with anything so that they don't take over my job.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Short of having an absolute hairy conniption fit (yep, I'm from the south, lol), and making them think you're a total b!+@h, I think the best thing to do is make them responsible for their own stuff...make them do their own laundry, wash their own dishes, clean their bathrooms, etc. This takes a lot of the burden of cleaning off of you and makes it much easier. Happy day to you Catherine I just love your zeal for taking care of your home and your family and the DIY‘s and the dollar tree hacks they’re spot on! I use my old cedar mop the same way I put a bucket in the side of it for the Fabuloso cleaner and then the dirty water goes and when I ring them up out, I also use my old cedar mop to clean my paneling in my home any cleans the baseboards wonderfully cleanAnd I use a few drops of essential oils such as peppermint or tea tree oil to the Fabuloso to enhance the antibacterial properties of that product, keep up the good work young lady and you are enough! And the fact that you have a lot of self-worth you are loved and you are so important because Jesus loves you
