In regard to pulling for A ranks, I’ve been doing that for Star Rail and it’s worked out for me so far. However if you plan to do it you have to have a good understanding of how pity works in the game. You also shouldn’t rush to max out a character’s copies. Be smart, be patient, be informed, and always ask yourself how ok are you with the worst possible outcome.

Agree I'm regret to pull danjin in jiyan banner than get Jiyan within 50 pull and lost 50/50 for yinlin that awful. Now in ZZZ my most favorite is Billy I'm really want to make him shine even endgame content. 😤 and I don't want to make that mistake again.

It depends on what you mean by worth, the extra resources only save u a week or two at max so if your patient then idk
People guess that you need 2 team like in Genshin Impact, but I see that's most like Honkai Impact 3rd, and you need one team of each element. I may shock some people, but it's important to always remenber that gacha games isn't a run, but instead a maraton. In the long term players will have one team of each element.

Honestly, ZZZ has the potential to be a TOP gacha (with the biggest community) and that's for one reason, if they release ZZZ versions on Switch and Xbox in the near future, they will hit all the gamer communities. Especially the Switch version is important in my opinion, it can really be a big hit there.
Mobile players, PC players and console players, that's simply a solid foundation and an advantage over the "competition". Thanks to the PC and Playstation versions of Genshin and HSR, HoYo is where it is today.
So ZZZ has enough trump cards. It is perhaps the first gacha that really feels like a AAA game, not a mobile game that can be played on PC and consoles, the animation of the characters is also simply in a different league, I hope that we will continue to get more diverse characters like Ben, Lycan, etc.
The potential is simply there, they just have to use it.
