- Kittens are born every day into terrible situations, and thanks to your support, we can crawl into these places, save their lives, provide them with the best medical care and then find them loving forever homes. This #HopeForPaws video in collaboration with #FoxyAndTheHounds is going to be particularly entertaining to #SpiceGirls fans... just watch until the end and see if you remember all these songs back from the 1990s. I asked Loreta Frankonyte to help me out with the songs because she is a BIG FAN 😄
When our friends at Foxy And The Hounds called us late at night, Loreta Frankonyte and I met their founder, Terri Fox at the location. Unfortunately, we couldn't see anything, so we left food and returned the following morning.
The next day JoAnn Wiltz joined us too and together we were able to save this unusual family of ALL FEMALES (which is statistically very interesting because usually, it's about 50% boys and 50% girls). There are cool techniques in this rescue, some creepy parts, a guest star, and one scary moment when one kitten almost got away!
This 4th of July like every other 4th of July is a holiday where many animals get injured and many die because of the scary fireworks. Dogs and cats run for their lives and get hit by cars, birds fly into windows or abandon their nests in fear for their lives, animals crawl and hide in storm drains that they can't escape later on... it's just a deadly nightmare.

Most kittens are lucky to live 6 months on the streets. Adult cats have a hard time living on the streets with most dying slow horrible painful deaths, especially when hit by a car or attacked by another animal. Not too many feral cats die of old age. Diseases kills many ferals each year after having the disease for a few years and passing it on to almost every cat it comes in contact with.
The feral cat problem needs to be eradicated.

That one kitten just kept ramming into the crate thinking if he rammed hard enough he'd get out.
Many years ago I rescued a Pit Bull who managed to do this... he banged his head so hard and broke the welding! It took me 3 more hours to get him, but I did it 😃

It is simply not possible for our family to express how much gratitude we have for Loreta, JoAnn, Terri, Eldad, the entire HFP team and "Foxy and the Hounds" team for doing this brave and amazing work. It's amazing to see how you have progressed over the years. How you have developed strategies and tactics to make the rescues quicker and more safe. That basketball trick and the towel piston drag were incredible! You are all the best.

I really love that you've shown the TNR theory responsibly and kindly. The mother would have been miserable being in a house and so, knowing that she was fed, you did the best thing FOR HER.

Statistically, it's crazy that it was all girls and we definitely prevented a major disaster that would have happened just 6 months from now.

It was a happy ending for all, even the mom! It's great to know she's been spayed and won't be having anymore kittens. I'm sure the people who, so kindly, look after her are grateful too. ♥
Amazing rescue!! Too bad mama couldn’t be socialized, but at least her babies will live happy long lives.
@Levi yt 17 no, they were able to capture and spay her. Since she was completely feral, she was released back to the same area.
I'm a veterinarian assistant at my local vet clinic and people are constantly coming in to get their pets sedatives for the 4th. I hope your pets will all stay safe and sound inside! This is a scary time of year for them!

you can tell they are neither satisfied nor really agree with the treatment they get.... they look very irritated and overwhelmed.... gosh, they are so cute. never understand why people hate cats for being themselves...
wish we could care for more of those special individuals, but we have 3 so far (and all of them with big problems, partly fighting for their lives for years now)...
if you got a cat laying next to you, you just touch it, and it turns on its back or stretches it's legs, breathes deeply out, all as a sign that it feels save, enjoys and trusts you... that's the biggest reward you can get from those fantastic creatures, i guess...

Cool! I once found a newborn baby cockroach in my jelly pack. My mum was going to make jelly, but when she opened the pack, this microscopic baby cockroach came scuttling out. I caught it and put it outside. He was pure white. And 100% adorable 🥰🥰🥰 and ofc the jelly was expired 🙄

I remember when I moved to Alabama, I was all excited thinking I found albino cockroaches. I put them in a jar the next day they were back to their normal color. hahaha

It's just psychological... I am almost a MILLION times heavier than a cockroach 😄
They can carry some nasty diseases, but so far, after many visits to the sewer, I never contracted anything weird.

Man, I wish I was closer to y'all! I have become very good at taming feral cats. The rescue group I work with introduces me to new volunteers as either "the crazy cat man" or " the cat whisperer! We just recently pulled 63 out of an abandoned mobile home park that had all never had any meaningful interaction with a human. Unfortunately there were two that didn't make it, but there are 61 with loving homes now!! This kind of work is heartbreaking and very time consuming, but very worth it! MUCH love and respect to you guys for all that you do!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Patreon setup doesn't need multi-tier pledges either. Additionally, you could include a bit more social stuff about people you work with, short bios, introduction to their pets. This channel has grew way beyond just watching animals getting rescued, you have a loyal fanbase rooting for the whole team. \o/
People are so hateful and rude when they abandon and abuse animals. I am glad they are safe❤️🙏
it's likely the mom lived her whole life as a feral cat. She was probably born on the streets. Cats who've had some human contact tend to be more willing to be around people. This cat clearly wasn't, so I doubt anyone abandoned her.

Some people unfortunately are ignorant. Animals are God's creature's, I always Pray for kid's and animals and The people who help them.
@@red3here she is what feral really means. People who adopt a cat they find usually call it feral which is totally wrong. If it lives with you it wasn't feral. Ferals are like that mom, would rather chew your face off and can't be socialized.
