Personally, I really love the self titled EP, but Griseus is pretty great when I'm in the mood for it
I got introduced to Lord Belial through your ranking and as soon as I checked them out Enter the Moonlight Gate became my favourite black metal album and one of my favourites of any genre of all time.

I’m really surprised you, and no one in the comments, had listed satanic Warmaster. The album ‘carelian satanist madness’ is my personal all time favorite black metal album, it is just the catchiest riffs you’ve ever heard one after another, highly recommend anyone reading this checks it out.

Cladan Brood are actually singing about the fantasy Book Series: Malazan Book Of The Fallen by Steven Erikson (Caladan Brood is a character in the series I think) I haven‘t read it yet, but its supposed to be rly good!

I had been into Caladan Brood for sometime but never bothered to look up what the name of the band or lyrics were referring to. Then picked up this book completely unaware of the connection. I think my jaw actually dropped when I came across the name Caladan Brood in the book. It really added to my enjoyment of both the book and the album for me.

Dude have you heard Acid Witch? If not you should check out some like Stoned To The Grave, and Worship the Worm/Witchhouse and Midnight Movies. It's not black metal. It's like stoner doom, death or something idk. You might like it.

I don't know why but personally "To Violate The Oblivious" for me has always been the least catchy Xasthur album there is...
