Neil Breen is so good at acting, he plays Spenser Sakurai as a writer and director
well done on everything, definitely needs to be a full film if hasn't already. You keep the suspense going.🔥🔥🔥
I'll be honest: I am probably in the minority here, but I loved every single shot - except the living room one. This short proves you're ready to shoot for Netflix or Apple!
Yeah living room was meh but the rest 🤌🏼
Well done, amazing work. I’m happy we are finally able to see it. It definitely left me wanting more.
My advice is cut it again and reduce what’s not absolutely essential. My first short suffered the same not enough close up and extreme close content. It’s hard to get the emotional connection with so many mid shots. Great effort though
You shouldn't be giving any advice😂
@@Ayy_Zachhexactly 😂 just a bunch of backseat "filmmakers" who haven't even reached the level to make something remotely close to this
You’re the GOAT! I absolutely loved your film. Thank you for making it. I enjoyed every minute of it. Keep on making more.
🙏🙏
I’m watching again and CZcams does not do this film justice. Still love everything about it. That opening shot was fire.
thank you for releasing it online!
Loved it. It's crazy how sucked in you can get in only 23 minutes. Nice work man.
Let’s go!! I can’t wait to watch this later, I know it’s going to be great!
Congrats on this film - so much work!
Great job! This is amazing 🔥
Congrats your new short film! It was terrific, very well done!
🙏
Amazing work Spense!!💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Really Awesome to see it all come together in the end!
Been watching you since your scene recreations, very cool to see you take on bigger projects
Incredible. Great visuals and engaging story.
Love it man!
Nice work!
Beautifully executed 👏
Very nice! This was really great.
Film was great! The actress Clarissa was AMAZING!! Future Movie ⭐️ 🎥 🍿
Well done ❤
great short I can definitely see a series made based of this film.
Watching it on my big ass Samsung tv and it looks beautiful!! Reminds me of Darius khondji’s work in Too Old Too Die Young. You have a fantastic eye!
Well done sir!
I all so saw it on TikTok went crazy love it keep going ❤❤❤❤
Really good.
Good stuff!
It's dope!
you This is really good and inspiring. Definiely leagues in improvements from the last project.
Gee max dont be in a hurry to help erica as she is being dragged away lets just take our time clearly this woman needs a real man this one is probably one of the worst horror husbans or boyfriend' that id ever seen on screen .but the movie was aesome i definitely agree with the positive comments on the comment boared but yeah sweet heart you definitely need a new man LOL .
Plz sir make tutorial on luts how to make for camera how map in 18% gray....
Nice cameo and nice work dude!.
DOPEEEEEEE
Please tell me what audio equipment did you use for this masterpiece this is brilliant the audio is outstanding please share !
It’s like leave the world behind before it came out
Some times I’m scared of making a film in fear of it turning out like this.
Your cinematography is usually a lot better than this so I’m not sure why even with a Venice it doesn’t live up to your shorts. Shoot your own stuff man, this DP set you back.
Did other people have input into the edit, colour and framing. Like I just look at how great your shorts are, and this doesn’t seem like your work.
@@rockwell7043the only problem with this is him. He’s a shitty writer and director. The casting is uninspired and the dialogue is very bland and terrible at times. The story is shit and it’s clear he doesn’t have much to say.
because this is a 30 minute outdoor movie and the venice is as heavy as a car to carry around and set up.
@@fatherfigureproductions bahahahhahah okay sure, its a bad film because the camera is heavy. Noted.
@@fatherfigureproductions Check out Danny Givertz’ IM THINK IM SICK… it’s outdoor scenes look like a Netflix movie, their Venice mustn’t have been as heavy. 😭 actually to be fair i watched the behind the scenes to this film and it seems the director was bumping heads with the DOP who came in last minute or something, and even said himself he would do things a different way if he was using the Venice… so sadly i think the lesson here wasn’t the camera, but having a DP you get along with and is willing to listen to the director ….
It's out!!!
i kind of jumped! nice work
Yeah I was gonna say the first shot has to go. I still don’t get the ending.
Yeah what was on the floor?
Nice cameo at 5:00 :)
I GET IT NOWW
fucking amazing
7:10 was great shot
Why wasn't your subject in the opening credits lit? Just the kitchen! Cinematography should evidence the ability to paint with light. Expensive digital cameras do not make up for the lack of creative use of light. Refer to Noir films for inspiration. Good luck in the future. 😎😎
Tough!
What about Film Festivals? I thought you are entering it there?
Yeah didn’t get in. Releasing here is great anyway!
Like a thoroughbred right out of the gate @ the Kentucky Derby. HE’S OFF to a flying start. GO, GO, GO! I applauded your moves & encourage you to KEEP GOING. Every film maker goes through this & if this is your 1 st SHORT then let me say … your’e going places. 🎥🎥🎬🖋💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼NEVER give up & IGNORE the critics… .what do they know? NOTHING.
The "bad" framing of the first shot was foreshadowing.
what do you mean?
The poor criticising of other peoples efforts is also foreshadowing… Lets see your work. KEEN to make our own comments.
No it was not, that looks a lot natural. You gotta Appreciate the effort that was put into this project.
I think the framing was chosen to give the audience a sense of uneasiness. Sometimes you have to break the rules in order to serve the story. Not every shot has to be well composed.
That's the point of putting out work. Or should we always give fluffy positive criticism?@@darkknightwithanidea1845
