I have tons of uad plugins and I love them. I used an Apollo x8 for years as inserts but I didn’t hear such a big difference between before and after uad plugins that justifies the 3k usd price for the base model
curious if you can work on both UAD and for example waves or live professor at once via Dante, have you tried it? I really like vocal effect from waves.
In the case of the X32, you're adding more processing abilities to its limited amount of Effects inserts. So it's less about relying on it to process every channel and more about adding further processing power. Plus you can get 2 apollos and daisy chain them together for 32 channels (if you have the cash for that lol)
That mix is pretty rough.

You can use a channel Insert. The WING has an external FX option. Doing it this way is going to use up one of your FX slots though.

16i/o is just way too low when you need at least 32

Not tryna hate but all this and your mix is quite muddy. Needs separation
