Bought GR2 40L in Multicam about a month or two ago. I'm a firm believer in the "buy nice, not twice" mantra. Swear by it with nearly everything I buy. Higher quality shit that's made with attention to detail and by a company that guarantees it for life is worth the extra coin. Assuming the bag meets your needs, you'll never have to buy another ruck in your lifetime, can pass it on to your children kinda shit. And it's made in America, so your purchase keeps jobs in the US. Recently picked up their GR1 26L for EDC and will likely buy their Rucker 3.0 25L for hiking (AKA rucking in the mountains).

40L is a decent size, traditional molle, clamshell opening, Cordura, Ykk zippers, good stitching 👍

Great pack, I got the 34L gr2. Grabbed one before manufacturing moved overseas.

400.00 ain't worth it ... Your standard work guy ain't buying it ... Oil & gas guys need a good back pack and the only one I've found so far that isn't going to break the bank is deluth trading Post pack... Even then the first one I got had loose threads had to send back ... 2nd one I got has so far been taking a beating and no issues...

You're so right. The regular guy will not buy this bag right out of the gate. But you give a guy three or four shitty bags over the course of his career And he just might start to rethink american-made labor and american-made parts. Consider the leather tool bag I did a review on a few weeks back. Totally out of most guys reach and daily need. but the few guys out there who understand how important it is to have a heirloom quality type item totally get both videos. In the last 30 years of my working life. I must have burned through about 15 to 20 bags. Backpack, shoulder bags, tool bags whatever type of bag you can think of. So,$400 bucks for a bag that will probably last me the rest of my working life doesn't sound like that bad of an idea. Now if I can get another 30 years in the trades then I might rethink the backpack route. but the way things are going I probably have a good 10 or 15 left this bag should do the trick.

Erik Nybo $400 are you serious? what a joke.I'd rather buy a pair of Bose 35s headphones and then some.i would spend maybe $150 for a back pack 😆

Not that well thought out, no waist strap, no cinching strap for shoulder straps, no compression straps

Some video ideas: tuff toe, those lace in metatarsal guards, super feet insoles, aftermarket laces

Would rather have a Vanquest or a Maxpedition pack... Less money for more features and better materials...
