- I know this video is a little longer than usual, but I didn't want to sacrifice steps in any of the projects just to make the video shorter. All of these projects are pretty common Christmas woodworking projects that people are batching out for craft sales. If I missed any important details, let me know in the comments. I hope this video helps you out or inspires you this Christmas season with the projects that you're working on.

The snowman’s the best in my opinion actually, I love them all just leaning more towards the snowman
Awesome! Yes, I love that one too, probably going to make more for this year, it was really popular last year.
The snowman’s the best
True, that seems to be the resounding vote. Thanks for watching!!
I agree snowman has my vote
Yes, 100%. Thanks for watching!
#5 for the WIN! !! !!! Thanks for the ideas
Footnote: I would not glue in the arms, my wife would yell at me when she had to wrap them up for the long summer in the attic.
Haha, good point. though they do bend pretty easily since it's picture wire. If I didn't glue them, I would probably drill thee holes much deeper so they wouldn't slip out as easy.
Just a tip. When you tie small knots and you don't want them to ever come undone, just place a drop of super glue on the knot. It will never come apart.
Excellent tip, Thank you!!
Cool snowmen.
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
I like the snowman and the snowman tea light holder
Thank you!
When I made the snowflakes, I notched out my arm pieces, so everything just fits flush. It takes a little bit longer, but I really like the way it came out.
That's Awesome! I'll have to remember that when I make more for this year. Thanks!!

I Notched out the arms, so they fit flush. Takes a bit of time but looks nice
I am about to build the snowflakes myself. I thought the stack up might be bulky as well, so I really like the work-around. Very cool projects!

Fabulous items and great instructions! Thank you
Thanks and thank you for watching!
So cute!
Thank you and thanks for watching!!
Taylor, I made a ton of snowflakes this year for sale and did very well. I also changed up the design slightly by adding a solid hexagon in the center to add my diamonds to for the larger version. For the smaller one I used two angles in the center, one at 30 degrees and the other at 60 degrees which closed up the hole in the center and gave full bearing for diamonds.
Thanks for the ideas, a solid hex was a good idea! I batched out a ton also, they were our top sellers at our Christmas Market. I’ll definitely be making them again.
@@boydstongrove Would you mind sharing how you priced them Boydston? Thanks for the video, not to long at all.
@@edhiestand1197 Sure! Keep in mind that we live in Jax, FL, the cost of living is cheaper here than most states, so our price points are often lower also.
Snowflakes $15ea (we sold a bunch)
Trees $20ea (2nd most popular)
House candle holders $12ea
Snowman Tea light holders $12
Stacked snowman decor $15ea
Thanks for that,
Mr B!
great job!
Thank you!
Very cool!!!
Thanks!!
I love them all❤️
Thank you and thanks for watching!!
VERY creative!...Well done!👍🤝😁
Thank you!
Pretty snowflakes--wish I had a table/miter saw--I'd be making loads of them to sit out on my porch and sell them. I loved the beveled Christmas Trees, and the small houses are always a quick & easy deco pieces.
Thank you!!
Very cool ideas! Thank you for sharing them!!
And thank you for watching!
@@boydstongrove I subscribed and will be watching more! Thank you, again! My little boy and I are going to make some of these tomorrow. Simple yet fun!
Awesome video! I'll be making some of these.
Thank you! Have fun making them!
9:10 I've cut out the base on one side so the battery box can be hidden there. And then a hole for the wire.
Thanks for sharing the video.
Huh!! Good idea! I’ll have to write that down for next year! Thanks!

Haha, yep mine too.
Thanks for watching!
Great video i love all those that you built, as for a favourite it was a hard choice so i have gone for a shared favourite between the Snowflake and the Snowman with his hat and scarf, and as for adjusting Mathews Snowflake version, you did a great job on that and yes he does a great channel.
Just found your channel while looking for Christmas Woodworking Projects, and now i have Subscribed to your channel. Now i have to play catch up on more videos.

great vido sir i subscribed gonna make a few these next year for family
Awesome, thank you! so glad you liked it!
Man, I just found your channel. Great stuff!
Thank you!!
@@boydstongrove hang in there. You’ll reach 1000 subscribers soon and it will begin to snowball. You’ve got great content. 👍🏼
I liked the X-mas trees best. Where were the LED ribbon strips obtained?
We got our lights from the Dollar Tree, during Christmas, but you can also find them on Amazon. We also thought of making our own by just getting plain fairy lights and loosely wrapping them in thin ribbon.
Snowman my favourite
Mine too
@@boydstongrovehi Taylor just had thought if in the christmas trees if u made the base little bigger you could glue battery pack underneath hiding it from view sir
Hey there brother. I'm new sub. I really like what you did with all these projects. They're the definition of quick, easy (If you know what you're doing.?) Cool, Festive and inexpensive to produce, meaning you can start by making just the one, if that's you can afford. Stage it, list it as low, or temporarily out of stock, take orders, fill the orders as they come. Before you know it, you'll be working every waking moment, or taking a couple days off from your day job to kick into production mode.
That was great mod on the snowflakes. That was Genius.😎
Thank! Love the idea of staging and taking orders to batch out, I’ll have to remember that for next years craft sales!
@@boydstongrove I haven't tried making any myself yet, but how about scrap-wood- serving trays that are stackable.
@@scottbionicnerf8727 I have made videos for serving trays and stackable storage boxes, but never thought to combine the two
You might think about getting a tubing cutter for the pipe. Faster and cleaner on the cutting and no need to sand them later.
oh believe me, it's on my "must get someday" tool list! Thanks for watching!
@@boydstongrovewell, it does cost almost $10.00 for a good one, so put it on your stocking stuffer list for your wife.
Love the Christmas tree! What is the overlap distance on the branches?
Hmm that is a good question, I think I made it 1 inch but I’ll have to go back and look at them
I really like the small houses you made. I was wondering if there is another type of finish you could recommend to use oldies is a bit pricey
Definitely! I use boiled linseed oil a lot. It's very affordable and you can get it at most hardware stores. It just doesn't smell great so you need to let the pieces air out. Any kind of Polyurethane would work fine, long as you give it the proper dry time. I've also seen a lot of these houses painted black and they look really nice.
Wow i love the tree and snowflake and snowmans. Now want to make. Think i would make another adjustment to snowflake. Instead the long poecw in back id angle them too so it can lay flat. Also can u explain how u know what angle to cut the adjust u did i did one 45 and the smaller ones was at 30 degree? Thanks. And i want to make smaller snowflakes
I figured out the angle I used was just by trial and error. As you can see in the vid, the pieces weren’t exactly perfect, but it was covered up by the diamond pieces. I like the idea of it all laying flat like you said, but that long back piece is a main support to hold the whole snowflake together so I’m not sure how it would work without it, definitely something to think about!
That white snowman was what I was thinking of. Home Depot has some CHEAP spray flat white,, Then you can add the other touches to it! Instead of 'twine' why not use some really thin red or green ribbon to tie the hat,,, or even thin red and green ribbon!
I like the ribbon idea, thanks!
Calling Dollar Tree "THE Dollar Tree " always cracks me up 😂
Haha, never really thought about it. Guess I should have looked it up on The Google 🤣
@@boydstongrove not being a CZcams jerk, but it's not only you. Lots of CZcams vloggers call it "The Dollar Tree." I laugh because I never say that I'm going to "The Walmart" or "The JC Penny "
@@dgoins6 I hear ya, the funny thing about making videos, half the time I don’t even notice stuff until it’s already published 🤦♂️
These are great! Do you have a link to the ribbon lights??
Thank you! Unfortunately no link for the lights. We picked ours up at a local Dollar Tree. I'm hoping they sell them again this year.
I subscribed, but would love to see your own ideas and time involved making it.
Thanks for joining us! I am already working on a new list for this Christmas. I've never really thought of keeping track of the time, that's a good idea.
Great video. What gauge nailer did you use for all these ?
That is the 18GA Porter Cable. Very affordable on Amazon. There should be a link in the description if you want a closer look.
Great projects! It would be helpful to know the price you sell them for-even a range. Would you mind sharing?
Not at all!! Our sale price was pretty low in Jax, FL, so consider the area you’re in.
Snowflakes $15
Trees with lights $20
Snowmen tea lights $12
Stacked snowmen $12 (not worthit)
House candle holders $12
They are all great! Look forward to seeing many more! 🇨🇦🫶🏻
Thanks!! and thanks for watching!
❤❤❤❤
What would be a good price for snowman candle holder
We sold ours for $10, but here in our area, prices overall tend to be lower than average.
