- In this episode, I unlock an absolute paradise in Madagascar. The west coast is incredibly beautiful and a paradise for enduro motorcycles! Thick sand, dunes, but none of that is a problem if you have a powerful, light bike and I am loving it. To top it off, I get to go on one of the local sailboats and experience some local fisherman's life - what a magical place...

About 2 years ago, I accidentally came across an Itchy Boots video. A year ago, I finished watching every episode. 9 months ago, I left on my own motorcycle trip, encouraged by what I had seen through Noraly's eyes. 6 months ago, I decided I was never going back home to Canada. 1 month ago, I bought my new home in the country of Belize, my trusty Harley Davidson parked by my side. To say Noraly had a major impact on my recent life's decisions would be a gross understatement. I have never been happier...
Congrats! Follow your passion!
I also liked Belize a lot from what I saw in itchy's video. Enjoy!
Wow. What a great story. Best to you!
All the best to you in your new life 🦘
I am Dutch, just like Noraly but I moved to Canada and there is no place I rather be then here in the Ice and snow and the hot but short summers.
Everybody has their favorite place on earth but for Noraly it just seems to be earth anywhere. She lives life fearlessly and to the max. She is some awesome woman.
No pollution, no stress, no police, no junk food, no social media. Just people living a simple happy life. Madagascar is truly amazing. Thank you itchy boots.
No Police?
Uganda?
Hope it stays like this. Lots of beautiful places around the world have been spoiled and destroyed already.
No medical care, no air conditioning, few educational or job options...
And no borders...no city traffic nuissance
Didier`s appearance with the drone was absolute cinema!
Why not buy that gentleman a better engine?
@@Paultjepaul422You must be new here.Sorry
I've been following her for a long time, but these Madagascar series are giving me a lesson in humility, seeing the simplicity of people and the difficulties they experience and being happy is making me a better person. Thank you Noraly for showing us that sometimes we don't need much to be happy.
I lived in Madagascar for 30 months and you are right. The Malagasy people are really nice and een more when you go on the coast.I spent a week in a tribe in Ankevo on the part that she rode and these people are so nice despite having a terrible life having practically nothing.Their only goal get food day to day and water.
Wow, what a fantastic experience!
This Madagascar series is incredible
Meep Meep :)
Yes so beautiful 😍
Her guide is incredible...the things he's going through for her. Gotta be getting a sweet paycheck I bet because he's getting run ragged.
Yes I agree. It really is up there with the best of the best.
Madagascar is an area found in heaven 😊
I have traveled all over the world. What I love about you, is that you take me places I would never had gone to. I am not a bike rider. Thank you! You are fearless, most adventurous and the perfect global ambassador!
I hope Didier is also having a nice time in a nice place as Noraly when they have their breaks. Because he is working his ass off on this trip and helping creating all this content that we are watching. Thank you Didier
You can be sure he is! A room with only one bed….what do you think? He kick sum asses there, I must say! Literally! 😅 lol
I wish DJ also had a KTM
The footage with the fishermen, diving and fishing and sailing back with smiles in the sunset was nothing but beautiful. It felt like nothing could ever disrupt this calmness and peace.
And freedom.
Was just thinking the same thing
This woman could make movies and you never get bored
She’s brilliant
She's actually making movies and we never get bored!!!
Nothing short of incredible the way she captures all these scenes and then packages it into a masterpiece video. No one like her. She is a genius but am sure she is too humble to consider herself one.
These really do remind me of Bruce Brown's surfer movies of the '60s. There is purity, almost crystallijne look at her worlds.
No be lie
The fishing just did it for me.!!!just fresh of the water 💦
As someone who can't ride anymore, age and health reasons, the visceral thrill I get from your over the handlebars pov, as you scoot with joy through the dirt, is medicine for the heart and soul.
Same. 👍🏽

@@ochrechap would love to, but me getting to the post office these days is an adventure i have to spend three days recovering from.
Did anyone else find themselves leaning away from the trees while she was riding through the deep sand? Lol.
After all the struggles that I've been passing through, still in recovering from a tough surgery were for some minutes away from me. All the pain and sadness was replaced for a necessary freedom and joy that i pretty much need it. I even shredded some tears. Thanks for that.
Madagascar is a country that very few people explore. The few that do go there don't usually stray from major spots. It's wonderful to see so much of a country that is often never discussed other than its wildlife.
Fancy seeing you here!
Looks great at this point. Trees are absolutely amazing. Wondering about other places we have not seen if it is safe for her
i was there 5 weeks in 1996 backpacking ..i was 22y old. it was one of my best trips until now (50)
I’m subscribed to both of your channels. Love your content 👍
It's actually the opposite. Very few tourists spend any time in Antananarivo, Tamatave or Majunga. They stage through these places to stay at national park eco-lodges and look at lemurs or baobabs. The Italians have direct charter flights from Milan to Nosy Be and stay put in the resorts there, without setting foot on the main island. But you're right, virtually every TV documentary focuses on wildlife, primitive infrastructure and grinding poverty. A bit like this series, really.
Sunday & Wednesday afternoons are cool because a brave woman risked all to show us the world through her cam.God keep you and protect you.
Thank you
Madagascar is really beautiful 🤩
Thank you for point out that it is Sundays and Wednesdays , I hadn't noticed it yet! Go Noraly!
This is certainly one of the best videos ever been made about local fishing traditions, in this case in West-Madagascar. Noraly, you definitely should receive a kind of official award for this! 👍👍
It wasn’t that many seasons go when sand was your nemesis, my how you’ve grown. Thank you for taking us long with you xo
Well, this episode made this 76 year-old sailor happy. Noraly by the sea! Noraly in the sea! I still sail my sea kayak with two rear outrigger sponsons. I’ve always admired these working boats from around the world. No motors. Just the wind, the tide, the currents, and the seafaring skills of these fishermen. Thank you, Noraly, for taking us with you. What a memorable episode. Sleep well in your beautiful beach bungalow by the beach.
They're good ship builders and good sailors...they get those things moving. Pity there aren't bigger fish down there. Maybe other days.
Am 70 years old and I am from Bulgaria. I was also very excited by the vlog because I am a biker, surfer and skier! I recently sold my 17th bike! I used to dive a lot, although not professionally. I've spearfished, but in our sea it's hard and doesn't happen often!
Your enthusiasm is infectious! It's inspiring to see your passion for sailing and connecting with the sea. Noraly's adventures are truly captivating, aren't they? Wishing you many more memorable voyages on your sea kayak!
@@LadyWilliams-ql5wy Thank you. My son put me onto Noraly's adventures almost two years ago. I've been a fan ever since. Kayaking the shores of Newfoundland in the summer of 2017 was a highlight among my Ka
kayaking adventures. I met so many generous and helpful people there.
I had an outrigger sea canoe made by an Irish boatbuilder. I was going to rig it for a sail. But I just couldnt handle it. If I had have been 20 years younger, maybe. 😊
It's already been said by me and many more but I have to repeat it. This is so much better than anything that I have seen on National Geographic or Discovery. Sitting here in Florida, drinking my morning cup of coffee, and again, Noraly has made my day.
I send hem a link
Better than National Geographic? You are definitely drinking the worst moonshine around. Noraly's adventures are unique but not better than National Geographic. Stop salivating after Noraly and spewing infatuation.
My thoughts exactly!
What a relaxed way of life
Yes, she has. This video is award worthy!
Thanks Noraly for showing us young men without video games but the biggest smiles. Who would have thought that a work ethic could bring such pleasure.
I am 66 years old and have been riding motorcycles all my life. I absolutely love to watch your video and if I could I would love to ride with you. I can still do it. This is better than any nature show plus motorcycles. Don’t ever stop ! Best videos ever !!!
Hey Danny, yes I am 62 and have luxury of riding my 300 Rally several times a week. I see many comments saying poor Didier they gave him that little 200cc China bike and he has to struggle. While I sympathize, I would gladly accept that crappy little bike and a big backpack through the sand if it meant riding with Noraly even for 1 day. Peace!
Women all over the world we need to celebrate this woman. She has really made us proud
Listen! I'm in awe every week.
People, not just women!
One in a million
Lmao
The best way to start a Sunday is by spending it with Noraly. This was an especially beautiful episode. The fishing and the sea… fantastic
Keep it up my Dear sister Noraly I pray every time for you so that God's protection over you , wherever you go
The best way to end a Sunday 😅
I agree
Clear blue midday sky, serene beach environment, a golden sunset by the sea and gregorian hymns to the creator God.
Give me this all day and twice on a Sunday
This episode deserves two thumbs up. Not only another great Noraly production, but Jacques Cousteau at his best as well.
*Ms Noraly, that was an amazeballs video 🙂All I can say is 'Have camera will travel' on the ground, up in the air and under water... this is a best adventure that I have ever been on, by being sat on the back of your bike. 🙂 Oh my gosh that place that you stayed in, was out of this world... it had the best of everything 🙂 Didier is a great tour guide to have, even if his bike struggled somewhat. But also capturing him on your drone footage was fabulous too. 🙂.*
It's easy to become so engrossed with Itchy Boots' adventures that one can forget that her story telling and videography are world class. For example here she took to undersea film making "like a duck takes to the water". Masterful work, Noraly.
Our Noraly gives us footage from above the sea, on the sea and below the sea. Sigh! What a woman and what an inspiration in this broken world.
This one made me tear up a bit. The part on the water showing the beautiful simplicity of life there was spiritual to me. And you Noraly with your bright face. Great episode!! ❤️
That fishing expedition, the scenery, the boat and equipment, the amazing fish, the videography, fantastic!
Who else rides through deep sand getting whipped along the way, laughing and having a good time ? You are by far my favorite utuber and a cure for life's seeming challenges.
we were thinking the exact same thing--- and add that its a safer way to travel, and more adventerous
Noraly is a free spirit, I love it
Wow!!! Just wow!!! Itchy Boots has somehow managed to surpass herself here. This is now my best episode of all time. The adventure out on the local fishing boat is an experience that most of us just never could have - so beautifully filmed and such splendid music. Almost had me in tears.
Yes, when the filmmaker can draw emotion and goosebumps, that is true talent!! Itchy Boots is so impressive in so many ways!!😍
Its the best episode ... until the next episode comes out! She keeps outdoing herself and amazing us all.
If the fast riding on top of soft sand wasn't enough, the fishing trip was a superb treat! What a moment! Such skilled and kind people.
This is one of the best if not thee best CZcamsr. Travelling Madagascar really look like a nightmare but equally thrilling. The wonderful thing about CZcams is that an intelligent geologist adventurer gets to make money showing us the unconventional world. The years of big push media selected few is slowly ending. Who knew that Madagascar has such awe baobab trees amongst so many treasurers. Well done itchyboots this here is amazing 🎉 stay safe and as human as you are.
We all, through internet, can see this beautiful scenery where land meets the sea, because of you, Noraly. Thank you. What an astonishingly beautiful body of water, crystal clean sea.
He is really having an a time of it with that little bike. What a trooper he is. I know from experience that is quite a workout. Well done to both of you. ❤👍💯
I was thinking that too.
@ron7447 *_ What's the bet Didier gets to the destination, has a shower, smokes a quick bite and goes straight to bed! _* 😛😜
It's a pity that so many comments are just people's opinions about whether the people of Madagascar are better off in their simple life, or if they are poorly off and suffering, or is there an under-current of drug use, violence and abuse. If someone comments that it looks idyllic they are immediately shot down in flames. True is that these opinions are by people who have on the whole, no real experience or knowledge, only what they "learn" from the internet. My (rather over laboured) point is that these people watch Noraly's amazing videos and all they can do is flaunt their own ego, to demonstrate to one another that they are right and the other is wrong. To all those, like me, who appreciate the wonderful cinematography, the great story telling and the incredible hard work that's required to produce these videos (600+ and counting), I salute you..!
Well stated and I have thought about exactly what you stated as I read 1000s of comments. I'm with you on your viewpoint. One thing Noraly has taught us and that's not to judge others. She shows us what she sees and leaves it to us to access but we should not in turn comment publicly in judgement because Noraly didn't and most likely the comment will be wrong. There will be exceptions but for most part just watch and enjoy and stay positive! Peace!
Watched this video while my new 1 month old granddaughter was sleeping next to me on the couch and her Mom was napping. Awesome video Noraly! So beautiful and relaxing. And let’s not forget educational on how other people live their daily lives. Thank you for all you show us of the world. 😊❤
Your laughter makes me smile
The sunset and underwater cinematography is outstanding. Wow!
As an expat living in the Netherlands I can tell you Dutch women are tough as they come. But bike rider in the dunes by day, high sea diving by the evening is a whole another level. There's a bravery inside Noraly of which only men have been chanted in the history books. The Noraly army of one is impressive at conquering new sights for us.
Yes to your last sentence!!!😁
I rarely comment on videos, but I can say that I enjoyed any inch of this video..................love from South Sudan
That last part on the sea with the locals hunting under water for fish was definitely one of the best moments I have seen on this channel. Spectacular shots! Thumbs up, this has become way more than just a motorcycling channel.
Wanted to say the same❤
“Cover the earth before it covers you.”. Noraly you are Simply amazing. Thank you for these Journeys ❤❤❤❤Team Itchy boots all the way.
Oh my! This is the best show on television! Thanks!
You cheer up everyone that watches you
Noraly, last 8 minutes were visual delight
You've done it again,Noraly. Not only did you take us through this wonderful journey on the coast, you even took us underwater with you. Showing us sights we see only on Discovery Channel and documentaries
Well done, you are one in a million.
I have been watching your travelogues for a while and i am filled with admiration for your technical expertise, navigational ,logistical and most of all your determination to make it through to your destination no matter what obstacles thrown in front of you .Great photography with excellent use of drones .
This is by far my favorite Itchy Boots episode. It combined all of my favorite things into one. Motorcycles, sand riding, sailing, snorkeling and fishing. I don't think it could get any better than this
The fishermen show what it means to take care of nature, fishing what is necessary and in an artisanal way, the natural environment without pollution, all living in healthy environments, an incredible documentary
Just sucks that they have to resort to catching such small fish because of China overfishing their coastal waters. Making all Eastern coast of Africa fishermen and their families suffer.
terribly tiny fish :-(
Noraly is really amazing. All that she puts into the production of each one of these videos is mind boggling and very professional. The vivid colors in each landscape, interactions with the people, just puts you right there almost. The long days in the saddle, bumps, sometimes crashes 😂, she has more endurance and fire 🔥 than the vast majority, yep, she's a wonder.
She’s a perfectionist and overachiever and it shows!! Just love her😍
That, she is 😊
She is WONDER WOMEN!
Is she on steroids?
I think noraly should be tested. She is overachieving
I am overwhelmed of how beautiful Madagascar is by the sea. I absolutely loved the gentle people and the beauty that is Madagascar. Thank you Noraly for the ride along.
Given all the amazing places you have shown us over the past five to six years, I wait... what next will Noraly film and blow my mind. And here it is, at 23:28. Magical. Surreal. After battling through sand all day, past amazing scenery with those jaw-dropping baobab trees, you've shown close to half a million of us a part of the world, and the amazing folk like Giano and his crew who live there, that I couldn't even imagine. Thank you. Again. And Didier... what an absolute legend. Fighting through it all to keep up with you on that underpowered little motorcycle. All round awesomeness!
The highlight of every Sunday is when Noraly drops a new video 🥰

That was in January of this year.
You are an amazing director and film maker Noraly. I think your underwater adventures will also be as fantastic as over ground. Thanks for taking us everywhere🎉
This is breathtaking! the simplicity and efficiency of these sailing fishing boats absolutely rivals that of most modern-day technology.. Pure joy, the views, fishing and gorgeous sunset❤❤❤❤❤
I'm in the fourth quarter of my life, I've visited several continents and met lots of people, but your vLogs have showed me things I would have never seen. Thanks Noraly!

Quel endurance , Didier... avec a mauvais moto...
the pure fysics of sailing (wind blowing from where, put your sail there, will get you where?) I never understood. And these arent olympic sailor bratty-kids, they learned by doing. Makes it even more impressive to me
to be frank it aint rocket science, pull down the sail, if you want to go in the direction of wind
Noraly, what an amazing adventurist you are. You travel in the air, on the land, on the sea and under the water. Thank you.
As a bike guy myself this demonstrates the difference the appropriate bike makes.
You were whooping and loving every minute and Didier is working his butt off

Compelling series.Madagascar has to be one of the most unspoiled islands in the world. Breathtaking beauty at every turn. Noraly you have arrived in paradise.
It's beautiful, but deforestation is a huge issue.
@@erin6945Yes,unfortunately the Island lost 90 percent of its original forest. You could really tell in the first couple videos that the hills were mostly Barren and eroded. Where there is greenery it’s mostly scrub and bushy trees. Even the Kirindy forest was third or fourth generation re growth and not original forest. The few Baobabs you see are what’s left of the original landscape.
@@Winstonrodney6989 I noticed that in the videos as well. I had no idea that so much was lost.
