    This video shows you how to install the factory Ford rear wheel well liners on a 2021 F150. This is a simple install that should take you about 10 minutes. I purchased these from my dealer's parts department using my Ford Pass points that I got with the purchase of my new truck. The list price is about $178, but most dealers will discount them slightly. They come with all the needed hardware and really give the wheel wells a nice finished look, especially on lighter colored trucks. Not only will they help keep your wheel well clean from dirt and mud, but they will also prevent scratches and dents from rocks and other road debris. They're definitely a nice addition.

    another way FORD can nickel/dime the customer. These guards should be included on every truck at every trim level

    Did these go far enough down to protect the tires from flinging up dirt and mud towards the running boards… If that makes sense. Just upgraded to a 23 and the longer power running boards, and they are right in front of the wheel well, so the tires fling dirt and debris onto them being there’s nothing blocking it in the wheel well

      No, I don’t think so. I do believe that other brands like Husky offer a bit more coverage, but I’m not sure how much.

    Thanks for the install video, the printed instructions were horrible, the printing was so bad that I couldn't tell what any of the pictures were.

      Yeah those directions sure left a lot to be desired. The first side took a little longer just trying to figure out where everything went.

    I wonder if these would fit on a 2021 F-150 Tremor? They do not have part # under Tremor Vin#. Dealership couldn't tell me. I assume Tremor wheel well area identical to other 2021 F-150's.

    • @randomstuff25
      @randomstuff25  Před 2 lety +1

      I’d think so. The bed is the same. Might not fit the Raptors, but the Tremor should be fine.

      My clips and screws were sandwiched between the two liners and they were held together with zip ties.

    They do look good but is there any concern of moisture being trapped that might cause rust issues?

    • @randomstuff25
      @randomstuff25  Před 2 lety +1

      Not that I’m concerned with. I’m in FL so I don’t have to deal with salted roads. Otherwise I might remove them once winter was over to rinse out behind them. Once they’re installed though there isn’t really much opportunity for water to get back there unless you’re flying through standing water. The bed is also aluminum, so you don’t have to worry about rust.

    • @randomstuff25
      @randomstuff25  Před 3 lety +2

      I ordered them from my dealer because I had a coupon and used my Ford Pass points. The part number is ML3Z-9927886-A. If you google it you’ll find some places selling them a good bit cheaper than the $175 MSRP.
