Miss the Boleyn Ground man, imagine as a keeper that behind the goal as your trynna win a penalty shootout, wouldn’t even be able to see the fans in the Olympic Stadium
I'm an Arsenal fan but that was a great football ground. I understand the PL is a global product and the game has evolved but its a shame to see the clinical, sterile and frankly silent stadiums now. Anfield has its moments of atmosphere but Selhurst Park is one of the few true football grounds left in top flight.
I go to watch lower league now. Cheaper, much better atmosphere and not filled with corporate tw*ts more concerned with their blackberry and glasses of pinot.

Has anyone here seen the U19 Dinamo Zagreb vs Bayern Munich penalty shootout? It ended 6-5 for Dinamo with a total of 3 shots missed (one by Bayern, 2 by Dinamo) and two saved (both saved by Dinamo). Ridiculous nerves in that, I tell you.
