  • I hope this helps you guys! I use 464 Soy Wax in all my container candles. I use ECO 8 for my 180ml jar and ECO 14 for my 8oz Candle tin.
Remember we've all got to do our fair share of trial and error! Just be patient and keep testing those candles 🕯
    Wick guide:
    www.candlescience.com/learnin...
    Different types of wicks:
    CD: Flat braided paper wick
ECO: Flat braided cotton wick specially designed for natural waxes.
HTP: High tension cotton/paper wick with no core
    LX: Flat braided cotton wick
RRD: Round directional wick usually with a cotton core

Hi, thank you for sharing this info! Im so glad I came across your video because I have had to switch vessels due to stock issues on my original one. I now am testing the amber 180ml as you have and depending on FO, I use Eco 4 or Eco 6. Can I ask how you found Eco 6 to be burning too quickly vs Eco 8? because I'd assumed the opposite

Hey, lovely video, thank you. I read all people coments and your video and it seems to me, that is totally individual when it comes to wicking. First the jar size ans shape, color, fragnance loads, wax type etc....With the recomendation from the website candle supply ive ordered few wicks, and strangely, the sizes that seems to be fitiing for my jars dont perform well, some smaller sizes are making mishrooms(which is usually a factor for the bigger wicks, some bigger wicks for the jarsa are forming tunelling...hahah okay will do more and more testings. What would you recommend me for my jars, I have 2 sizes; 106ml/2.2'',5,5cm diameter & 212ml/2.7-8'',6.9-7cm diameter?? They are neck jars like the one for pickling.

180ml amber glass jar, have you try it with cd12 from candle science? I’m just asking cos CS recommend me that , but I’m afraid if might be over wick cos i have the same glass jar as yours, since you’re only using eco 8, I hope cd 12 works for me I’m just waiting for the item to arrive.
