I hope Illaoi turns out to be a very powerful character, it'd be cool to see a trapper/brawler's setups in high-level play.

I'm a big fan of characters like Bryan Fury or Goldlewis that are sort of unorthodox bruisers with strong but technical setplay. I hope they end up being like that.

Based on the testimonies of early play testes who are now free from NDA, she was pretty good. (Was, because that was when she was incomplete). Based on Evo Japan testimonies... she's even better now.
