There's a new enchantment called "Swift Sneak" and can be found in Ancient Cities. I think you might need to add them to your leather leggings for the "Best Worst Equipment" Zedvancement.

I'm wondering if you can even fit all the boot enchantments on one item. You're pushing the limit by making soul speed boots.
@@handgun559 if you enchanted a good pair of boots from the beginning the only books you'd have to add are Mending, Soul Speed, and Frost Walker. But due to Frost Walker and Depth Strider being exclusive you can only pick one so you cannot have all of them but you can put as much as possible.
Zedvancement Idea:
There are 8 goat horns in the game, collect them all.... but wait that's not all, gather 8 hermits (a feat unto itself) and have each blast a unique horn simultaneously. A Goatophony if you will.
If you're really adventurous you could, like an orchestral conductor, conduct them to make some kind of tune or perhaps have the horns go one at a time and overlap a little

@@hurrdurr7119 his ranged attack ignores armor anyway, the only danger is the melee attack that kills you in 1-2 hits regardless.

Earlier in the season I saw someone comment that Zed should have a Zedvancement for interacting with every other hermit while getting other trophies! Zed's already gotten helped with Zedvancements by many different hermits over the course of the season it just feels wrong not to!
He’s already got Ren for The Vinyl Countdown, Impulse for the Best Worst Armor, Scar from the Longest Death Message, Bdubs from the Mob-Stack-All, and (at least) Tango, Xisuma, and VintageBeef from trading with them for items for the Hall of All!
For the ‘I try I spy!’ Zedvancement, you may need to add Etho to that list, as he has started off his Hermitcraft season

since you can't dangle water mobs, you should try making an "All-quarium!" with every water mob possible (turtles, every different type of tropical fish, dolphins, salmon and cod, you can also do the hostile mobs, and the squids!)

I have the feeling Ren had some cleaning up to do after The Tactical Death. It seems like both the water and the lava have escaped because of the jumping creepers.
Wardens falling from the sky? Give Doc a week, I'm sure he'll figure something out there.
The creepers just zooming around in the pit was amazing (yet terrifying) to watch. That was a super fun Zedvancement.
Also the glass design is gorgeous. I only saw a snippet on stream, and wasn't ready for how PRETTY the end product would be. Props to the designers!
Honestly you should be considered a builder now. At this point you have made such incredible works of art. You have expanded your skill set and I can’t wait to see what you do next. Your quirky personality is unmatched. Way to go Zedaph.

I really appreciate Zed's ability to include other Hermits in very appropriate Zedvancements. Its seemless.
Zedvancement idea: "Love is Forever" Have each Hermit help you in completing a Zedvancement. (To clarify every Hermit doesn't need to help with the same Zedvancement)

Here’s an improved version of my original suggestion:
“Counting Shleep”
Get 16 sheep of each color, shear each, make a bed out of each sheep’s wool, and sleep in each of them
It’s not a long term nor a serious Zedvancement, but I do think it would make for a fun challenge
Make it more challenging by sleeping in every bed in one night, while hermits are on but without asking anyone to keep the night

You know, when Scar went down to the ancient city I thought he was being careless. Now, watching Zed run around, opening chests, jumping, and not caring about the shriekers, I realized that scar is practically a ninja in comparison.🤣
Well Scar did just sit unmoving directly in front of the Warden watching as it slowly sniffed him out for like two minutes so-

Achievement idea - treeception - grow every tree in a stack, one on top of the other. Or trees within each other, as in rings within rings.
Here's a challenge idea:
Make 17 cakes, each one with a different colored candle on it, and light all 17 candles at the same time.
Or, if you want more of a challenge, make 366 cakes and light all the candles at once, so everyone can celebrate their birthdays together. :-)

Boom Box Records sounds amazing! Guaranteed Ren and Zed will make an incredible shopping experience for their store. I smell zany redstone and noteblock music on the horizon and I love it.
Zedvancement idea: Have every mob/player head possible. It could be called "A Skull-full collection" as a play on "A Skillful collection".
Cub did that in season 6 I think, it's not worth it

That Zedvancement was so fun! I love the ones that are collaborations with other hermits. Also, can we just take a minute to appreciate how nice and clean the 1.19 zedvancement updates were at the start? That was a really cool visualisation.
One of the reasons I watch Zed is in most of his episodes I find out something I never knew about minecraft. That and he never fails to make me laugh...a lot. Thank you so much for helping me take my mind off adulting for a little while Zed. It is much needed from time to time.

i didn't expect this episode to be so fun to watch, the process of you and ren actually getting that all to work out went really smoothly and you two are a really entertaining duo! seeing all the creepers poof in one blast was very satisfying

I have to admit, that watching some of the other hermits, can sometimes feel like a chore. Not Zedaph's videos though, Zedaph is very rare specimen that makes videos I'm always in the mood for.

Having just watched Doc's video, I'm entirely sure that could be arranged. The necessary components already exist, they just haven't been combined that way.
I just love the “Yes and” mentality of all the hermits in Zeds videos. It may just be clever editing but they always seem excited to help Zed with his insane advancements no questions asked.

The average number of creepers you need to get all 12 droppable music discs is 38, the number of random picks needed to fully cover all options is called the coupon collector's problem, and it grows as O(n log(n))

Just-In-Case nobody else has said it yet, as soon as I saw that beautiful cluster of bobbing records, I was sure that you guys would want to build a 13-item sorting system. I'm curious to discover just how often each record is dropped, & how much gunpowder is produced.
Records aren't stackable so traditional sorting systems don't work, but I guess allays can do it now. Would be a cool project to see them do

The only stackable item would be the gunpowder, & if that's the first item pulled out by the sorting system, then maybe the other, non-stackable items would appear in big enough amounts to try this:

... where each "J" is a single, stackable "junk" item, & "R" is the desired record.
I'm not sure if this'll work, but I'd like to try.

Zedvancement idea:
"Horn-chestra"
To get this zedvancement, you need 1 of every horn, and you need 1 player per horn. Once you've gotten that, you and your group of buddies need to blow all the horns at the same time.
This was hilarious. I did not know about the TNT aspect of record collection. Executed perfectly.
This is my first season watching Zed and I gotta say every episode is edited perfectly. I have trouble staying concentrated and finishing videos in one go but with Zed's videos I always watch through, I'm always entertained, and I'm always invested in his Zedvancements!
This might be the best zedvancement. Amazing name, novel, cooperative, and fun.

That glass design was a really good idea. Normally I dislike when you tubers have things designed by other people then just build it for their videos but there are exceptions to every rule and things like that is one of those exceptions imo. It's not your build really. It's not the focus of anything. It just makes one tiny little thing (the map) a little better. It's dumb the glass shows up on maps

The music disc is called otherside. Lena Raine is the composer. She also did Pigstep and the recent 1.19 disc, as well as some other Minecraft background music.
That creeper grouping in the corners - that is what the chickens do when I overcrowd them. That is how I know I have enough to slay for my next round of chicken farming.
You could call it "The Blasting Room" which is an ACTUAL music studio where lots of bands record their records in Fort Collins, Colorado!
Hello, everyone. This is Temporal Scout 41, filling in for Reporter Ness, who has agreed to give me a physical form and share consciousness for an important task. But on to today's adventures.
I have noticed that the Zedaph from this permutation is more of a daredevil than the reclusive, cave-dwelling inventor I observed in my timeline.
Today, Zed explores the Deep Dark, a mysterious ancient City, and he awakens a Warden of the deep. Is the Warden guarding the ruins, or is he the reason for them? At any rate, he intentionally dies to it for the sake of a custom advancement. He respawns, which shows that these characters also cannot permanently perish. Interesting.
He then partners with Ren, who is apparently the Server King (an interesting development), and together they have a blast! That creeper farm is a thing of beauty, and the creepers pour out into a tank for explosive disposal. This does hearken back to the inventor of my universe. This one is fortunate to have both a fearless and inventive version of Zedaph.
What an entertaining day! But tonight we must embark on a slightly more sobering mission. We must visit the depths and investigate a rift that threatens many Hermitcraft universes.

This was so cool! I really like how when you guys went to use the creepers to get bacm to spawn, there was just a solid second of "tssssssssssss."

you should get a big collection of the rare versions of mobs, including; white fox, brown panda, blue axolotl, brown mooshroom, zoglin, the three jockeys (spider, chicken, and strider), and maybe an endermite. if you want to make it extra hard, the spider jockey could be a stray skeleton, and the chicken jockey could be a husk (or a drowned with a trident to make it even worse)
might be too luck based to make a good zedvancement, but it sounds cool in my head

While you're reviewing old zedvancements. You can do a bucket leap with most bucket types. This includes lava, fish, tadpoles ect. Doing a lava leap from world height to bedrock is possible.

The beat part of the Zedvancements by far is the social aspect of completing them with other Hermits.
A bit of a fun match fact for anyone wanting to play along at home - the expected number of trials to get "n" different things, each with an equal probability of appearing, is n*(1+1/2+1/3+...+1/n). So, by that logic, to get all 12 records in one go, you'd want 38 creepers for better-than-not odds!

It's too late now, but for everyone else here's a Zedvancement suggestion for you:
Get as many advancements as possible with one single action. An acton can be hitting something or shooting an arrow or pressing a button.
Just imagine the chat full of achievements all at the same time 😂

I like the idea of playing all records but you could go a step farther and get a bunch of mobs and other noisy things bells, trap doors etc. to make a true cacophony.
