I noticed the investment you spent, from location and clothing to crew; the results shows brightly. What do you want this spec project and the experience gained to do for you?
Going into this project I really just wanted something for my portfolio that I’d be proud of, while of course leading to more work. But then as I started to dive deeper it started becoming a lot more than that. It was really about not waiting for a project like this to land in my lap cause rarely does that ever happen so I just went out and did it. In a way I wanted to prove to myself I’m capable of doing a project at this scale while documenting it to share the experience with others.
Yo! How do you use the follow focus with the aid primes. I have them as well but the follow focus always skips gears…
We didn’t have that issue, my AC took care of most of the technical stuff since I was DPing & Directing 🤷🏻♂️

at 6:30, can you elaborate on the rigging? It looks like a beamsplitter?
I made a video about this rig in one of my CZcams shorts. We used an autopole spread between the walls, then used a cardilini with a grip head + grip arm to rig a titan tube with diffusion and duvetyne to control the spill
