iv added the snow man just for fun and all the mintages for the 2018/19 coins will be updated in future videos as and when the Mintages are released.

I think they are worth what people buy them for, if a collector buys one for £100 then to them it's worth £100, it's how auctions work. Thanks for the vid 👍

I've had loads of those Kew gardens in the past given in change. Now that I collect these for my daughter, I haven't seen one! Lol
U need to watch there is alot of fake kew gardens about. There were only 210,000 minted so very rare. I got mine in my change in a chemist.

A special coin to some one is only what the buyer is willing to pay . Need Kew gardens etc to fill your set or book good luck finding one under £300 grrrr my ocd keeps me from keeping them as I’ll never have a full set . Now try buying a full set 😳.

The thing with eBay is you can put any price to any thing. 99% of what's on there will never sell at the price listed.

I work retail and I’d say these valuations are fair. I’ve seen a lot of these coins a lot of the time. Some of the new ones I’ve still to find.

Thomas Jackson I paid £80 for the Kew Gardens 50p nearly 2 years ago it’s now selling for around £90 minimum it’s definitely holding its value and can only increase in value as time goes on. I looked on it as an investment

You might get £1 for the people's act if your lucky but the others are only face value.

I got my key gardens 50p 3 years ago and it was fetching £25-£30 bAck then. I'm Now seeing them on eBay reach over £100 on occasion. I wonder what they'll be worth in ten years time.
I was lucky to.find my kew in a bank run, so got it form face value, I think they could go up even more in a few years.

If its the writing being the wrong way round and it missing dots they are not errors they are just the way they are. Its 50/50 on the writing and most £2 coins have dots missing.

@Quite Nice Coins I have no idea. Someone told me it could be worth some money so I took it to the shop and the guy said I'll give you £9 for it. How much should I have got if it was a bunc or proof? It wasn't a puddleduck 100%
If it was a mint condition coin in packaging, those were sold for £10 new so £9 is about right. If it's a coloured silver proof, those were worth about £60 new and may have actually increased in price due to demand. If it was a normal, bog standard circulating 2016 Peter Rabbit then it's worth 50p to maybe a pound, and the shopkeeper was an idiot...
@@Batou667 it was a 2017 one. I got it from.a vending machine at work and someone said I bet that's worth some money. Took it in and it was in pretty decent condition very shiny and didn't have any visible scratches and he said £9 and I was happy with that. Maybe it was the £60 one but I wouldnt have a clue.
