Dalekium's mashup is better, IMO, and it certainly flows better (I especially LOVE that the Hung Up bridge was not edited out!!!)...I also love that this mashup seems to give both Madonna and Cher equal time. The other Gimme/Hung Up mixes are Cher-centric, while Madonna seems to be an afterthought. Congrats, Dalekium on a great job!
Why people keep mashing these up? They are two very different songs despite the same musical arrangement. Better a good remix of each than mixed together.

Because Madonna used the hook from Gimme Gimme Gimme in her song, Hung Up. It was monumental, as I believe that she is the first person ever to be allowed to SAMPLE any of ABBA's work. They turn down most requests to use their music in anything. Now, Cher has been allowed to remake, in a modern fashion, a large chunk of ABBA's catalogue, and Gimme Gimme Gimme is the first to be released. It makes PERFECT SENSE to mix these two, and to arrange it well. I still sense an that an even better mix than this one can be done, but this is the best to date!
