    Confirms Sun’s talent. Even though defenders are at a disadvantage in top level TT, only a few professional male players have the power + control + ability to read defender spin to dismantle someone like Ma Te (more in China, to be sure).
    Sun has shown here how mature her game has become.

    Sha is just too good. Last 2 games were close, but defenders don’t have it easy in this day and age.

    Ma Te is near to perfection about the defence. Super Amazing

    Saw Sun Yingsha frustrated and smiling for the very first time.

    Lol whoever think Ma Te was taking this seriously you need to log off and go back to your basement league. He clearly could of won if he wanted to. This is just practice for those who are in the main line up. Ma Te was in the main line up before but not anymore. Hence he does still travel with the main team for practice as well.

      Why wouldn't he? And why would he no longer be in main line up? What could have been the reason? I bet you play table tennis too since you are a fan as well right? ❤

    Defending is sadly dead, you could see Ma Te probably could have won a game or two if he just played a counter looping playstyle. Sun is absolutely brilliant though!

      In general yes I think but not to this extent, I think against Chen Meng it would've been a lot closer(though I do think she would win) Sun is just a defenders kryptonite though with her massive forehand.

      sun ying sha would probably beat most of european top mens players, so dont conclude too much.

      It's not dead. Sun lost to Wang Chen Ce in 2021 (male chopper). Ma Te recently won against Lin Shidong by mostly defending.

      This match was just practice for Sun Yingsha, hence the friendly smiles at the end

    Sun Yingsha does well against male players. She's kicked Xu Xin's ass before.

    Sun 0% spinless play. Flat ball trouble for Ma Te😢

  • @-danR
    @-danR Před 10 měsíci +1

    Ma Te isn't simulating any chopper here, he's playing all the classic Ma Te moves and playing flat out as hard as he can, and throwing in everything but the kitchen sink. She beat him fair and square here.
    What? He's gearing down his counterdriving here to deliberately lose points?

      I believe he's told to imitate a non-Chinese female player. What I can't figure out is which female chopper pose a threat to Chinese?

    • @noah7477
      @noah7477 Před 11 měsíci +2

      @Fakeslimshady, probably Linda Bergstrom, she recently placed second in a tournament. Where did you hear he was acting as a clone?

    • @Fakeslimshady
      @Fakeslimshady Před 11 měsíci

      @@noah7477 From 2016 Olympic Chinese warmup games, Li XiaoXia won Ren Hao (imitating Feng Tianwei), and Ding Ning won Yang Sheng (imitating Shan Xiaona). Both top threats of the Chinese team at the time. Bergstrom in 2023 is possible, but with respect to her she's not on the same level as FTW yet...

    • @noah7477
      @noah7477 Před 11 měsíci

      @Fakeslimshady I see, is this event a warmup for the Olympics or some other international event? Linda Bergstrom is the highest ranking female lp defender. So most likely, she is training for her. Unless, of course, she's training for Han Ying and Ma Te might be the best choice for training against her. Though I speculate why they wouldn't use Wang Chence for that.

      @@noah7477 The 2016 one was right before Olympics. It's on CZcams you can search "Ding Ning vs Ren hao". This 2023 one appears to be for the upcoming Asian Games/championships

    MA Te unfortunately embarrassingly bad. A good defender would be a better trainingspartner for her. Han Ying is far better than this guy
