This video had really made me worried because I could never be as talkative as victoria and edward, like during practices I had I always ran out of things to say. But when I had the exam in June it was actually fine!!! The examiners were super nice and at one time when I ran out of things to say, the examiner actually gave me a hint by saying, ‘you’ve mentioned...could you tell us more about it’ or something like that. And during part 4 I just kept asking my partner what do you think(sorry hahahaha). Well I got my results back 3 weeks ago and got 186 for my speaking. And youtube somehow recommend this to me today! Brings back memories 🙈 to everyone whose going to take the exam soon: good luck!!!

yes maybe they could use more 'funtional' lenguage but the thing is that you dont know how hard this is for not native speakers. Sometimes we dont have the right amount of vocabulary to do something like this bc, let's be honest, we cant never know all the words, and the exam situation is stressing so i think that yes they could do it better but considering everything and the effort they put on this, i think they were great!!

gigi LC Good luck! Don't worry, you'll do great. I did my exam in June and it wasn't hard at all. When you do writing, use in addition, secondly, firstly, therefore etc. in your essay. Pick the other theme wisely so it isn't too hard. I wrote on their paper as soon as writing started, and still got 190, even though it was a bit messy because I had to cross out the mistakes. Listening was a bit tricky, but don't panic if you can't answer a question! Just go with an answer that makes sense. Speaking isn't hard at all. They asked me about school, do you need to win or is it ok to just participate, should students get awards for their success etc. In conclusion, I was dying just like you are right now, but then I realised it is quite an easy test. Come on, if I got an overall score of 189/190, you can get it too!

OneDirection2V The purpose of these exams is to get a CAMBRIDGE CERTIFICATE which measure your level of English. For example, you can apply for a job where it's necessary to have an intermediate level of English.

sisi nilova well, hope you have done it extraordinarily...In my opinion I think that reading is only a bit stressing and a bit difficult if your vocabulary is not so extensive, but if it is you´ll have no problem. Use of English is the easiest part of the exam. writing, for me, wasn´t difficult ´cause I have facility to write. but the most difficult part is and will be listening. Speaking depend on you but also on the examinator.
pdta: I took the FCE on June,13th and I got a grade B( I passed with 173)....tell me about your result as soon as they come. =)

These videos are very helpful for students preparing for the Cambridge exams. They give students an idea of what to expect and how speaking exam is set up. It would be helpful if we knew the outcome of the exams as students often ask, 'did they pass'.
Can anyone who is preparing for Cambridge exams contact me or leave me a comment.
