I myself have only known of Courtney for about 3mnths but have been searching with gratitude for EVERY scrap and morsel the Internet so graciously offers. I have spent countless hours days and weeks viewing over and over and over again exclusively Courtney Hadwin 🥰❤💕 But just recently I have noted another personable (sweet) young talent whose star looks also to be on the rise and rise, Allie Sherlock. This young Irish girl has a similar generosity of spirit while performing (her busking clips make me wish I could throw my gold coins in!) that, like Courtney, give one an almost magical sense of awe and pride and immense satisfaction knowing that the music world is finding its stars if tomorrow, nit manufacturing them 🥰👍
I also like and follow Allie. Not as much as I do Courtney, but what really amazes me about Allie and her dad is how they market her on You tube. The amount of followers she has is insane. 3.9 million followers just about. That's crazy!!! She doesn't need to be signed with that kind of following. But last live chat they had her dad said they will be signing 2 contracts shortly. One in LA and another I think he said in London. Another amazing family band is doing the same thing on their own without signing a deal with a major label and killing it. She has released 4 videos and another Christmas song in 2023, plus, she has promised her own album in 2024. I like that you recognize quality. I dont usually like when reviewers interrupt the performance and comment but you did a rewind at all the right places and then you did not interrupt the crescendo. Speaking for myself, I enjoy watching reactions just to see exactly that. I like to see real time spontaneous responses to what is taking place. The expressions, astonishment, organic excitement to what is taking place. It confirms my own opinion on the artist. And it makes me feel good that the artist is having that same effect on someone else. I think we share the same kind of appreciation for the honesty this young lady brings to her craft. She definately has the chops to hold her own with whatever she does. After you watch a few more of her performances I think you will discover that she makes any cover she does her own, she never tries to copy the original artist. It is what sets her apart.

I've given a little background below. Courtney has been singing for a number of years and you can find CZcams videos of her going back to when she was nine years old. She was 14 at the time this performance was recorded. Courtney first rose to worldwide fame when she was a finalist on the 2018 season of America's Got Talent. Her audition performance was of Otis Redding's 'Hard to Handle'. The video went viral and current estimates are that it has been viewed somewhere in the range of 400M times. Throughout her stint on AGT, Courtney sang exclusively classic Rock from the 60's and 70's by the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. When you see her where she has the room, she just totally dominates the stage and her performing skill are unparalleled. Hi. As several commenters have pointed out, your video doesn't come up when doing a search for Courtney material on CZcams. Courtney has a huge fan base and many people do daily searches to find new Courtney material. As Mary Ann said in her comment below, it seems you may need to put Courtney's name in the video description and not just the title for it to come up on Courtney searches. A Courtney video like this will normally have a much larger number of views. Give that a shot and see if that doesn't help. Right now, since your video doesn't come up on Courtney CZcams searches, a large percentage of the views you are getting are limited to Courtney's most avid fans networking and passing the word on to each other. It's a great reaction. More need to see it.
Courtney Hadwin is one of those singers that retailer's are going to have a love/hate relationship. Hi Busy Mama! I see your reaction of Courtney's "Sucker" song got blocked. Probably by Sony. We noticed that those reactors that pause during a song a few times usually DON'T get their reactions blocked. So, the suggestion would be to stop every 30 - 45-seconds (about 3-4 times per song) and make a 5-10 second comment, or two. Once you pause it, just rewind it about 5-10 seconds to make sure you didn't miss something really cool in the song when you paused it. GOOD LUCK!!!

We just got over the shock factor after the AGT audition. I mean she got 130 million views in a week for that one performance. Seeing that 13 year old kid so scared that she got sick back stage a few times that made the producers push her time slot back, shocked the whole world that day on social media. I never heard of her until that audition showed up on my recommended list. After that she got better and much more confident. Last year, at age 14, she released 4-cover songs, including the one to which you just listened, "Sign of the Times" and called that album, "Cover Sessions". For your next reaction, I'd suggest you listen to her cover of Scotsman, Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved". I like that you recognize quality. I dont usually like when reviewers interrupt the performance and comment but you did a rewind at all the right places and then you did not interrupt the crescendo. Speaking for myself, I enjoy watching reactions just to see exactly that. I like to see real time spontaneous responses to what is taking place. The expressions, astonishment, organic excitement to what is taking place. It confirms my own opinion on the artist. And it makes me feel good that the artist is having that same effect on someone else. I think we share the same kind of appreciation for the honesty this young lady brings to her craft. She definately has the chops to hold her own with whatever she does. After you watch a few more of her performances I think you will discover that she makes any cover she does her own, she never tries to copy the original artist. It is what sets her apart.

Hi. Loved your reaction and so glad you came across Courtney. She is a real breath of fresh air and the best thing to hit the music scene in decades. She has already accomplished so much musically. I've given a little background below.
Courtney has been singing for a number of years and you can find CZcams videos of her going back to when she was nine years old. She was 14 at the time this performance was recorded. Courtney first rose to worldwide fame when she was a finalist on the 2018 season of America's Got Talent. Her audition performance was of Otis Redding's 'Hard to Handle'. The video went viral and current estimates are that it has been viewed somewhere in the range of 400M times. Throughout her stint on AGT, Courtney sang exclusively classic Rock from the 60's and 70's by the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. When you see her where she has the room, she just totally dominates the stage and her performing skill are unparalleled. Since then her fame has continued to grow and she now has a worldwide following and an estimated two billion on line views
Primarily as a result of her time on AGT, Courtney was signed to a major record deal by Sony Music and her debut album of original music was to have been already released but, like everything else, it has been delayed multiple times by Covid-19 and an exact release date is uncertain.
As you can see from this performance, Courtney has an absolutely beautiful voice and can sing beautiful, but gritty, ballads. However those who knew her only from her time on AGT viewed her strictly as a Rocker. However, Courtney is equally as great across so many genres including Rock, R&B, Funk, Soul and Ballads and she can transition seamlessly between them without any loss to the tremendous quality of her music. As a result, in 2019, she released a series of covers, of which this is one, that were specifically chosen to highlight her vocal versatility and to also show that her style can be adapted to current music. Each of the covers were unique, but all were as spectacular as this performance. If you react to those covers (link below), and you're not familiar with the original, I suggest that you listen to that first. It is a common opinion that Courtney's versions just blow the originals out of the water. Her creativity is off the charts and any cover she sings will never sound like the original. She never tries to mimic the original artist, but only does covers when she has a different take on how a song can be performed. Courtney is now 16 and lives in the northern UK.

This is a Harry Styles song (He was a member of the UK band "One Direction") The premise for the song is that a woman has given birth. But there are complications. The child will survive but she will not. She has just a few minutes to tell her new born what is important in life. If you understand the idea behind the song you will appreciate the rising pain and angst in Courtney's voice and the way the song fades away at the end.

Hi. As several commenters have pointed out, your video doesn't come up when doing a search for Courtney material on CZcams. Courtney has a huge fan base and many people do daily searches to find new Courtney material. As Mary Ann said in her comment below, it seems you may need to put Courtney's name in the video description and not just the title for it to come up on Courtney searches. A Courtney video like this will normally have a much larger number of views. Give that a shot and see if that doesn't help. Right now, since your video doesn't come up on Courtney CZcams searches, a large percentage of the views you are getting are limited to Courtney's most avid fans networking and passing the word on to each other. It's a great reaction. More need to see it.

Courtney Hadwin is one of those singers that retailer's are going to have a love/hate relationship. She will sell acunch of CDs and DVDs of her music videos or performances but trying to classify her music would be almost impossible. I don't know what to classify this song as. It's not exactly rock but there are rock style elements in it. The only way would be alphabetically.
OK, 1st I want to tell you this. Courtney's reaction video by you doesn't show up on our You Tube searches for some strange reason. Otherwise you would be getting a lot of people checking this out. The only reason I viewed this is because one of Courtney's biggest fans posted this reaction to another reaction of Courtney on different channel and let some of us know this wasn't coming up in our daily searches for Courtney. Maybe it's in the "tags" or something with You tube again.
I don't know how much to tell you about Courtney, because if I try to get it all out, my post will be too long. I'll try to keep it short, but I doubt it will be. lol. You can see by the view count of that video that people went crazy for her and still are. 130 million views I think now. And that's only one of them, there's so many more. I can see you were impressed quite a bit with her. So is most everyone. AGT got her famous for those who pay attention to all those talent shows. This video you just reacted to is a year after AGT when she was recording and taking a break from her album in a London studio to put out 4 covers as a sample of what else she could do. When she was on AGT she was a rock star and performed all old school rock type covers. She was the favorite to win for most of that season, but didn't. That's another long story I'll leave out for now. Many people had no idea she could sing like this cover of "Sign of the Times" So my guess is this cover was recommended to you by someone to show Courtney's pure vocals. Because on AGT she really just rocked out to the max. She is a natural Rock Star and entertainer on stage. In this video she was probably asked to stay seated and not do her normal thing by the producer. But I get the feeling you would enjoy that side of her. There is so much more to add about Courtney, but I'll refrain for now. She has recorded her 1st album of originals and it would have most likely have been released by now except for COVID. She was also on The Voice Kids UK in 2017 and was just as amazing as she was on AGT. If you love old school rock and love someone who lights up the stage when performing, then you will most definitely love Courtney Hadwin. And if you love her performance in this video where she has such a unique and beautiful voice with an edgy rock vibe added in, you will love Courtney. She's really got the whole package. She was 14 years old in this video and now is 16. Hope to see more Courtney reactions. Hi Busy Mama! I see your reaction of Courtney's "Sucker" song got blocked. Probably by Sony. We noticed that those reactors that pause during a song a few times usually DON'T get their reactions blocked.
So, the suggestion would be to stop every 30 - 45-seconds (about 3-4 times per song) and make a 5-10 second comment, or two. Once you pause it, just rewind it about 5-10 seconds to make sure you didn't miss something really cool in the song when you paused it. GOOD LUCK!!!

I see you reacted to the 2nd of Courtney's Cover Sessions videos "Sucker" by Jonas Bros. from last year when she recorded 4 different covers and unfortunately this one got blocked from SME. It's weird how sometimes these covers get blocked and sometimes not. But the more important thing is now you know 2 of Courtney's different styles out of the many she does. I can give you a video of her's that I know won't get blocked because she recorded this on her own. Not her label.
This video has already been reacted to many times and it's more appropriate for the Holiday's. It's just released last week and it's doing very well and has been mentioned many times in different articles around the world. We just got over the shock factor after the AGT audition. I mean she got 130 million views in a week for that one performance. Seeing that 13 year old kid so scared that she got sick back stage a few times that made the producers push her time slot back, shocked the whole world that day on social media. I never heard of her until that audition showed up on my recommended list. After that she got better and much more confident. Bushy Mama will want to watch that video after Courtney's newest Christmas song she just released.
