    so hindi po ba dapat Fb = W in water + W in air?

    Ma'am bakit po hindi natin pwede i-measure ang mass ng fluid?

    • @MidnightMommy
      @MidnightMommy  Před 2 lety +4

      Hi! Hindi natin ma-measure directly ang mass ng fluid kasi hindi sya solid. Imagine it this way: Ang tubig hindi natin binebenta by kilogram kasi hindi natin siya binebenta based sa bigat nya. Binebenta natin sya according to VOLUME, e.g. milliliters, liters, ounce (oz), or gallon. Parang ganito ang logic: Mailalagay mo ba ang tubig sa timbangan? Hindi di ba? Kasi wala syang "definite shape". If you will measure the mass of the fluid, need mo pa ng container and kailangan icompute mo ang mass ng fluid by subtracting yung mass ng container dun sa mass ng container plus fluid. Imagine how impractical it would be kung need natin kunin ang mass ng tubig sa loob ng swimming pool! So ang ginagawa natin, we compute for the mass by multiplying the density of the fluid to the volume of the fluid. Mas madali kasi sukatin ang volume kaysa sa mass at ang density naman ay CONSTANT or FIXED sa isang substance. For example, kung tubig ang pinag-uusapan, ang density ng PURE WATER is 1,000 kg per cubic meter or 1 gram per cubic centimeter. Kahit isang balde ng tubig yan or isang baso lang ng tubig yan, parehas lang ang density nila. I hope this helps at naintindihan mo yung sagot ko sa tanong mo.

    • @MidnightMommy
      @MidnightMommy  Před 2 lety +1

      Ang weight of the displaced fluid is just the same thing as the BUOYANT FORCE (which is density of fluid x volume of displaced fluid x acceleration due to gravity). Ang volume of the displaced fluid is makukuha mo kapag alam mo kung ano yung volume ng object na naka-submerge sa fluid.

    for the second example, it is actually how Archimedes of Syracuse did when the king of Italy told him to check if the crown was made of pure gold, at that time the king of Italy give a pure gold to a goldsmith and ordered to made him a crown of pure gold, in order to make sure that the crown was made of pure gold and he was not fooled by the goldsmith he told Archimedes of Syracuse to check it, and by his principle he found out that the crown was not totally a pure gold, part of it was a silver. in other word, its a FAKE.

    hi po question po why do we need density in solving problem in archimedes principle?

    • @MidnightMommy
      @MidnightMommy  Před 2 lety +1

      Need po ng density of the fluid to solve the problem. The buoyant force is equal to the WEIGHT of the displaced fluid. Para makuha ang WEIGHT, need na i-multiply and MASS of the fluid and the acceleration due to gravity (g). Kaya lang hindi naman natin ma-measure and mass of the fluid kaya gagamit tayo ng formula ng DENSITY (density = mass / volume). Ang volume ng fluid pwede natin ma-measure kaya to get the mass of the fluid, we need to multiply the DENSITY by the VOLUME.

      Hi, I suggest para mas mapadali ang task mo, try searching for problems on the internet na may solution na. I-change mo lang yung mga given or i-revise mo lang ng konti yung setting sa problem. Mahirap kasi mag-isip ng sariling gawa ng problem and solution sa Archimedes Principle kung hindi ka masyadong familiar pa sa concept.

    • @MidnightMommy

      Hi Trina! I think you misunderstood it. Hindi weight ng air ang ginagamit dito. It's WEIGHT OF THE OBJECT IN AIR. Need natin malaman kung anong bigat ng object kapag wala sya sa fluid (water). Kung ano kasi yung DIFFERENCE ng weight ng object sa air at weight niya in water, EQUAL yun sa BUOYANT FORCE.

    • @MidnightMommy
      @MidnightMommy  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi! Kung hindi po sya fully submerged, kung ano yung volume ng object na nakalubog sa fluid, yun ang equal sa volume of displaced fluid. For example, kung 75% lang ng object mo ang naka-submerge sa fluid, need mo kunin yung 75% ng volume ng object para malaman mo yung volume ng displaced fluid, i.e. 0.75 x volume of object = volume of displaced fluid
