Flying a 46 years old Antonov AN-24RV! | Motor Sich | Lviv to Kyiv Zhuliany | Economy

Flying an Antonov was one of our lifetime goals. We finally reached it in Ukraine last year. Things got even better with heavy snow that day! Such an amazing scenery! Enjoy our night flight across Ukraine!
As I've already noticed on TripAdvisor, it looks like there are many people far away from being aviation geeks who are curious about this airline and especially it's safety so I decided to add some more information:
Motor Sich is one of the leading engine manufacturers in the world. They are specialized in producing and maintaining engines for especially Ukrainian and Russian made helicopters and aircraft. All their aircraft are equipped with their own engines.
The AN24 is one of the most successful turboprop aircraft. It was developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960's. With more than 1300 types produced it is also considered as highly reliable.

Those seats look so comfortable! LOL And the sound on take-off...love it!

Thanks mate! Those seats were definitely not comfortable LOL! Literally no legroom and it was freezing.. Like literally freezing. Was wearing my winter coat which kept me warm during -15° in Kyiv city the next day but stil felt cold haha
