I’ve heard over and over how “unfortunate” it was that he released this palette because of the virus and being named as it is. I think we are a culture that has not embraced the circle of life. We are very VERY uncomfortable with the concept of death and in reality we should not be. It’s a part of life that we need to be comfortable with. That being said I received this palette second-hand as I didn’t want to go through the drama of the JS website....and I’m enjoying it....patchiness and all. It is fixable which I’m grateful for. Shadows are soft as BUTTAH.....just wish the palette was less patchy.
Sometimes I replay old ones cause her personality is just so good and I appreciate the company/distraction while working! New is *always* great but we can't forget the old school 🖤

I stopped watching, but seeing today's video I realise why I started watching this channel to begin with and I feel like there's some real growth sense then and I'm ACTUALLY excited to see more! I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who was finding this patchy 😭 the colors are incredible and so pretty but it seems you have to pack everything making it hard to totally blend a lot. Maybe I need a new eye primer? Idk I tried two faced 24 hour insurance and tarte shape tape 🙁

When I saw Jeffree unveil this palette I wasn't as excited as I was with the others. I know there's a lot of different shades but so many of them look alike. Yes, yes, yes! I’m so happy someone who reviewed this pallet was actually HONEST! Bought the pallet myself and was really disappointed with the patchiness, and fallout. Every other CZcams review I saw was literally makeup gurus over-hyping the pallets because they get PR from Jeffree. Thank you for putting this out there. ✨

Also, there is a wet n wild gloss called Fairies’ Funeral that is similar to Heaven’s Gates, but idk if it was limited edition; I got it for Halloween.

I personally don't own anything by Jeffrey Star because he is overall a very problematic person. But I'm not going to lie I was very tempted to buy this palette because I love the color grey. I think you could also do really good nude looks. Like when you do a European nude luck. It’s literally like one color and you can go up to two colors. Like if you use the pink peach or white and just used it to highlight your face and then do the nude skin look yeah you could use every single color in the pallet except maybe the block, for that technique. High end glosses are always that expensive. I just cant get myself to spend that much on a gloss. I have yet to try a very expensive Pat McGrath gloss... but I've got to!! They look amazing!!

They’re also trying to save their own face in my opinion but it doesn’t look good for JS considering his racist comments have been a reoccurring issue.

The colourpop blowing smoke palette seems to blend waaaay better than this one and is like 1/4 the price of the cremated palette. Seems like he didn’t go all out for this one like the others.

Jeffree has such a range of eyeshadows now that I'm seriously waiting for him to release lose and empty palettes. Lately it's been too much of him selling a concept for people and maybe is time for him to incorporate consumers's taste into their own purchase; that would be a innovative perspective for his brand and it would maybe bring in more customers

I just wish i would've seen this before i bought it 😭😭 like mine isn't even as good as yours? Like my mattes blend a lil better but the metallics especially the diamond ashes are almost impossible to work with
