I've held off from posting on CZcams last week due to what was going on in the United States. I felt it was most appropriate to amplify black voices and take a step back for a while. While things are slightly going back to "normal" that doesn't mean the movement should die out. Here are things we can do to support #blacklivesmatter :
+ sign petitions (I have several in my Instagram stories rn)
+ donate to organizations aiding in bailing out protesters, peaceful protest organizations like BLM and know your rights campaign, etc.
+ buy from black-owned businesses - I curated a list on my blog: www.worldofjob...
+ if you see an altercation between a black person and a police officer,
speak up, get as much ID info on the officer to later file a complaint against the officer. You can also call the local police station, but you will need to ID the officer and victim
+ understand your privilege and take time to educate yourself: follow activists on socials, read articles/books, etc.
+ if family/friends say something racist, speak up, put them in their place, let them know it’s not okay.
+ show support to black people in your life. Reach out, listen to them. Show your support, let them know you’re an ally. Follow their lead, if they ask for something, do what you can to provide.

*I use magnetic lashes and they stay firmly secured to my eyes for many many hours through different activities and I think the main reason why they stay so well is because I don’t put them RIGHT in my inner corner. Your inner corner is angled too far down and uses less liner so it’s always bound to start popping off. Trim your lashes and don’t put them so close to your inner corner and they’ll stay all day!*
i agree! i think it looks better at the end of the eye anyway.
but ppl would probably tell u you lashes are falling off.... n u can actually see the lashes of inner corner hanging......
I use lash anchors in the inner and outer corner and I have no problems with lifting :)

The lashes come with anchors on the corners (attached to the first and last magnets of the lashes) that you are supposed to remove before applying. Then you can use the anchors to secure the corners. I’m sure someone has probably already said this somewhere in these comments.

Ahh.. do the other cheaper brands that she mentioned have that feature as well? If you have tried them that is. Im debating between which kind to try. I'm an eBay seller and came across a set in my lot I bought to sell, and am debating keeping them!

@@thegirlgonemad no you don’t trim them off, the pull right off and you put them on the underside of your lashes to “anchor” them
The liner is so expensive because it literally contains metals and I’m sure it wasn’t cheap to make that safe for our eyes
This is true. In my line of work I study pricing for retail stores and sometimes brands just overcharge, but if you look at any formulation that includes metals for magnetic induced products, they are all, always more expensive. It takes more money to make that happen just as you said, to make it safe, test it, etc. However, companies like la mer, and skinceuticals, they're overcharging for products that are definitely possible to make cheaply, even with the highest quality of all included ingredients.
Oh, and also, shop on eBay for cheaper skin care, folks! Or mercari, or poshmark.
Amazon sells the lashes with the glue for $9.99 and I see great reviews on them

Other brands of magnetic lashes say to wait until the liner is 100% dry. Otherwise the lashes are just pulling the liner off your eyes. I bought the Kiss ones and they work great but I wait for the liner to dry completely.

Yes! The eyeliner needs to be dry before putting on eyelashes. Probably why they were not sticking as good.

quite long if you use you're own eyeliner for the look you want and only use magnetic liner above lash line for the hold. Don't waste magnetic liner for the wing part
Add two lashes of your choose to the cart, then add the eyeliner & apply the code “Stayglam” and you’ll get the liner FREE. I suggest getting the new felt tip eyeliner, it’s way better than the old eyeliner like in the video.

These magnetic lashes are dope but they do pop off on the inner corners I learned which is so annoying but what I did is slightly cut the Lash bangs to shorten it on the corners and not be shy with the eyeliner and put two layers

They’re popping off in the corner because you need to trim them they are too long in the corner of your eyes
Also they make anchors just for this purpose that comes with the lashes, if your lashes lift on edges apply the anchors and they hold!
I think they actually advertise that you dont have to cut them off, like theyre precut
I believe she has the anchors on without knowing. Everyone I've seen with them had a problem with the corners lifting but after they realized the anchor was on, the problem was fixed.

It helps to bend the band that same way you would do with traditional false lashes. That stopped the lifting of the corners for me.
I wonder if a different magnetic lash glue would work better with the lashes.

I had inner corner pop off too. I worn mine for 8-9 hours at work..I didn’t like how the black line transfer to my upper lid thru out the day :-( .. they are great magnetically but not for a full work day at the office ...
after wearing them a few more times, I definitely agree. Great for easy application when filming a video, but definitely not something that would last all-day
I think if you let the liner dry 100% they would work better and not transfer.

1. You're supposed to put 2-3 layers.
2. Putting a base of your own liner down and then that is generally best.

I did try them. I also found my right inside corner kept popping up 😤 I knew exactly what you were talking about. They looked go from afar but I kept looking to the one eye! I do agree with you on everything
you're supposed to trim them to fit your eyes, that's the case for most eyelashes actually.
i'm not defending glamnetic or anything, i just thought it would be helpful information for you in the future (but trim carefully, you cant but it back XD)
The corners came with a bottom side magnetic mini eyelash to seal the corners or your natural eye lash. They are tiny if you look. It's like a magnet sandwich for you eyelashes. They pull off and reattach. Tells you in the directions

I love that you used a blowdryer as a test LMAO. This was a great vid. I've been looking for magnetic lashes but so nervous. My main concern would be reacting to the eyeliner because I have sensitive eyes hence wanting to try magnetic over glued on ones.

um just fyi I have purchased products from there several times before and once they sent me those tiny tubes of liner...THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE NORMAL SIZE! I emailed them right away and complained that they had sent me like freaking sample size liner bottles and they apologized and sent out a brand new mailer with the regular size bottles which are like twice as big. Just needed to say that because it is not okay that they are doing this to multiple people...the liner is too expensive to be ripped off.

Nannette Gutierrez Not necessarily. An eye surgeon did an unsponsored review of them and basically came to the conclusion that they are safe, and she liked them better than regular lashes.
What makes them magnetic is iron oxide. It is not harmful! :)
Keep getting ads for glamneitc and I wanted a real review and found this video and glad I did b/c I about died laughing when you wiped out the blow-dryer. But thanks for the review. I'll stick with the KISS lashes for now. 😂
I caught mine on sale: 4 different lashes, liner, and and LED compact mirror for $99! Definitely worth it for that price.. but I'm not sure why they call them "magnetic" bc to me it seems like it's just a sticky lash liner and the magnets on the lashes are just a gimmick.. I had lifting in the other corner too with no trimming, but it's much better than messy eyelash or hair glue which always ends up in my eyes.. for me is say it's a go.. but definitely wait for a sale..

Honestly I had MoxieLash when they first came out. I wore them for an 8 hour shift outside for tailgate event.... And they stayed on, right... They were uncomfortable so on the drive home I tried to take them off and they ripped the skin off my eyelids. I was driving on the highway fam that shit was life threatening lmfao.
I put in an order for Glamnetic on Cyber Monday because it was on sale and I paid a lot less. Im gonna try it again but not rip them off and actually use makeup remover next time lol

This is the first time I’ve seen these and as far as false eyelashes go, these are the best I’ve seen. Usually you’ll see ones that do not span the entire eye length.

For the first 5 minutes I thought her dog was a sweater...
It kept popping out because you didn't use the anchors correctly. The piece that came off at the end it's called and anchor and they help secure the ends better. Hope the tip helps!

im a dude who recently just got into makeup and natural enhancements, I'm not trying to fly away with lashes but I've seen how much they do indeed bring the eyes out and I'm planning cosplay and costumes id love to take on. These do look very nice.... but that price tag... no wonder they are throwing discounts out because sheesh, 40 to 30 dollars.

They don't have the basic customer service knowledge to maintain the business at all. I ordered from them and my order was supposed to be shipped to Canada. I never received it. I contacted DHL and they told me since the service Glamnetic selected was "Non-traceable" therefore no further tracking number would be provided after it was handed off to Canada Post. Ridiculously, Glamnetic customer service told me to contact my local agency myself and since then they didn't respond to my emails any more. No tracking number what can Canada Post do? I had to let my credit card issuer stop paying them.
