I would suggest putting the clips on the molding 1st. Slide them into the tabs on the molding then simply snap it in place. Much easier and does not risk breaking the clips or the molding not fitting the contour.

Great video! I drive a Bighorn as well and have considered putting fender flares on mine also. Did you paint yours or did you have it professionally done? Also, now that you've had them for awhile, have you noticed any damage to the paint where the flares come in contact to the sides of your truck? Again, Thank you for the video. I have subscribed to your channel.

@@Bigb9298 Mine had the tab at 12 o’clock. So you just push it in the hole and it’s aligned there.
I left the lowest bolt on each side of the the wheel well. Pushed the flare in at the tab, then unbolted the front lowest bolt, and loose bolted in that hole. Then did the other lowest bolt the same way.
This way the inner plastic piece stays put, and your flare is aligned and easy to install the rest of the bolts once you have the tab inserted and farthest bolts connected.

I just installed these OEM flares on my 1500 Ram, but mine came with an adhesive tape strip on the back with a little pull tab that you pull once you have it in place and bolted up.
I bolted it in, backed off 10 cranks, and pulled the strip covering the adhesive and kind of pulled back a hair as I worked my way around (pulling of the cover of adhesive tape)
      No gap issues at all.
I’m kind of surprised your adhesive back was missing.
My instructions said to apply alcohol to the fender before install. My Autobody guy said use degreaser.
So I did both. I installed just the rear fenders for now because I’m installing headers in 3 weeks and will have to take out the plastic inner fender piece to access the bolts.
One cool thing was they arrived painted gloss black which is not far off my metallic black color... You have to look close to see the difference. So I saved on painting.
