But i had a question as far as replacing the led backlighting on all controls (hvac, door switches, steering, light control) on a 07-13 Silverado, can’t seem to find info on that. Not sure if the controls have a green tint/film to them or if the bulbs are green. Also what size led would be good to replace them with! Thank you in advance!
I am unable to help you with the 07-14 models I have not worked on any of these yet but I am getting ready to.

On a 2003 if you put bright white lights will they show up white of off white or a light tint to it
They come out white.

how did you make your bench tester for the DDM? I cannot find where the dimmer circuit goes through on the DDM. Curious if it operates on a signal in the class 2 data line. the rear swtiches and the PDM are easy enough to do but I have been struggling for months to build a bench tester for the driver door module.

No, they are not 99 to 02 are the same, and 03 to 06 are the same
What voltage are the LED's?
My LEDs work from 6 to 14 volts with no resistors.
