A curious blue whale gently approaches our whale watching boat while feeding off Faial Island, Azores. Blue whales pass in our waters from March to May in migration North towards their summer feeding grounds in the Arctic. Hunted to very low levels, blue whale sightings are one of the most amazing wildlife experiences one can experience.
