If you think about it, you could tow a Hellcat Charger on a trailer behind your Durango to the drag strip then run identical 1/4 mile times as the Charger in your tow vehicle, lol.

My wife and I both work from home full time, so you can imagine how much we will save, and how far those 270 miles on average will last us.
They FINALLY fuckin updated the interior of a Dodge/Chrysler.... This is def worth the money especially if you have a fam, who wouldn't want this as a daily, kids would never be late lol.. Does anyone know how deep and supportive the cup holders are? Are they easy to clean? I’m worried about my venti mocha Frappuccino spilling when I completely smoke the common folk as I sprint from 0-35 in 1 second every time the light turns green on my morning commute. Please let me know. Thanks.

I doubt it dodge only stuffs the big engines in it seems just before a full remodel or model cancellation. I would say hope for a wagoneer hellcat in 8 years. When the wagoneer comes i bet the durango is cancelled in north america anyway. Just my guess.

Why putting that much HP if you cant convert it into actual performance on the same proportion as it has more hp compared to the competition?

HOWEVER, one of the reasons why I’m not a huge fan of the Challenger (and why I am saddened Dodge discontinued the Dart) is because of the LED tail light. That rear makes me want to “BLAAAAAH” because it looks so good, in my opinion. My lady has a Jeep, and I have a Durango. Her front, I like more, but I FAR prefer my rear. That LED tail light, bro, is just something else. She wants the Challenger for that old school look, but I want the Charger for that tail light and the space. Do not get me wrong, I love FCA’s Jeep line. (The Grand Cherokee trumps every other model, as far as I’m concerned.) But said vehicle’s rear cannot compare, in my opinion, to that of the Durango.

What's the reliability of this engine? Is there consistent examples of the vehicles getting trouble free miles? Chrysler is confidently putting in in every vehicle so I imagine there some data by now.

That can be said for almost any, and all, cars that have this much horsepower though. I actually just pre-ordered one, and since I work from home, mpg are not an issue for me anymore. Some people dont mind blowing money on gas, with others it depends on their lifestyle.
The hood scoop is not so the engine can breathe. It is there to run cool/atmospheric air OVER the engine to help cool it. The intake air is through the fender and not the hood scoop. Please correct this in future videos.

The Durango has become underappreciated. After all this time, it's still a fast, great looking, and highly competent SUV that won't break the bank.
And great stable platform. He gives a lot of new cars a “tinny” score for door sound and this car along with the charger and others got a solid score.
I like the Durango I bought.

I was in the market for the Durango twice over the last few years and still seeing water pump issues up until like 2017.
