- I rode Flying Gangster at Leogang Bikepark from top to bottom and it was definitely a lot harder than I thought. I has long jumps, kicker jumps, wooded wall rides and steep fast downhill chutes. I even ended up on part of the UCI downhill world cup track!
I started off the day by riding the blue trails and thought that the red trail could be doable. I looked on CZcams and saw that the flying gangster trail didn't look too bad. However once I dropped in I soon realised that a red trail in Europe is much more gnarly than a red trail back at home. I manage to get down it however I had to roll the jumps as it was way too windy. I also ended up on part of the UCI downhill track which was held in Leogang only a few weeks before we arrived. I hope this video helps give you an idea of what this trail is like and I also hope that you enjoyed it!

Yeah for sure! It was my first time down so I think next run would have been better!
hey Kara, I also drove the route about 3 years ago. One is first impressed by the steepness, for example, in the lower area, but if you had driven it 1-2 times would have run with you certainly much better.

I have to say that the takeoffs on some jumps were made steeper this year

Hi Kara, these days I told you that me and may friends are having our holidays in Saalbach and Leogang and we are sad that we didn't manage to meet you and Tom.
Our Homebase is near Winterberg and Willingen, so we know these kind of traks and we are used to run down these fast, steep and technical terrain.
Nevertheless it ended up with one broken wrist, two of us with broken rips, a broken bike and one destroyed brake.
I'm back home without a crash and preparing my Haibike and gear for the next week of riding.
I know you have got a very good teacher with Tom, but please don't ride without an elbow or chest protection down these hills and always ride with a ff helmet on these downhill traks in the alps!

i dont get it, i didnt ride for 5 years, but probably am 3 times as fast!! further on, the audio quaility is bad as hell! cant understand why anybody enjoys this
