Basically David's three older brothers busting his chops. Love it.
For real! That's *exactly* how it felt! I think that's how David felt, too. He looked nervously over at them several times. Lol
I got you #700.
Fact.
Norm McDonald.....the King of the "wait for it"jokes." That seem to be so frequently explained in the co.mment section..
Really was amazing. I don't know why they dropped the show. Seeing the guys reminisce was hilarious in itself.
Norm interrupting the joke about a previous joke nearly took me out.
three times
easy target
BEST!
Oh my gosh!!!! I couldn’t breath.

No. Disliked.
What a way to beg for likes
You know who else begged for likes? That’s right.. Frank Stallone
how can you not like Norm
There is no excuse for this not being an entire hour.
I want this to be 3 hours,
@@tommatthews1156 I already forgot that reference. What's that from?
From Norm's 12 minute joke
"they only give you cash on wheel of Fortune" killed me.
Lol it’s the fact that he waits half way into Spades’ next joke to shout that out. Comedy genius.
Kurt Hardy lol yeah, the mind of norkb
No one has timing like norm, perfect
Yeah, that killed me.
Only it’s not true.
I love how Norm just sits in the pocket and WAITS - like a shark.
Sharks have to move or else they die.
Its true he picks them off. Only norm can resurrect bombs and make them funny.
You know what I think would be a more accurate comparison?
A Snake.
I heard he no longer does that.
@@sgshumblecrumb6046 "The Snake Man" is one of his most underrated bits by far!
“They only give you cash on Wheel of Fortune.”
Norm’s impeccable timing is nothing short of perfection.
Jody Powers only not accurate and not funny
@@Amberwood243 u seem like a real jerk.
Have you seen Paul Newman lately made me hold up a card with the number 10 on it.
Not accurate, still funny.
He was thinking of Jeapordy. Close enough.

Have you seen I'm Not Norm Lately?
One of us
@@FishTheJim yeah he's underneath the Queensboro bridge. His sweater business isn't doing too well
I’m definitely not Norm either
David doesn't get nearly enough credit, for being the eternal "little brother" to the champions he rode with. I loved this show as a kid.
As a "kid"???
Ouch.😳😩🙄
What a team of heckers to do jokes in front of. Man Spade is trooper for even trying!
Darn it all to heck with those heckers.
spade is a heck of a writer
Heck yeah!
Peter Hass What the heck!!!
Those darn heckers!!!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Gotta hand it to him
“A camel a cow and a dokey were found wandering down a kansas road They told the police, hey we got lost, we were trying to find the setup to a norm macdonald joke”. Lmfao. That is amazing.
That crowd has no idea how vividly accurate that Norm joke setup punchline is.
astonfunk lol i agree 💯
astonfunk lol i agree 💯
OMG, I lost it. Absolute gold.
Shouldn't it be "punchline," though. They are the setup, and they are lost. Idk whatever I'll see myself out.
Rest in Peace Norm, The Laughter you created will echo through eternity.
Or so the Germans would have us believe
A true master
Oh man , I just came to know by your comment , god man.
This World needed him more
Such a great sentiment.
(I'm not religious) but I like to think he's up there giving God and the angels a hard time.
Dennis Miller is smiling like a proud uncle, Norm and Nealon are the trolling older brothers. :p
"Is that true?" -- Kevin Nealon
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 "what was his name?" 😂
I have newfound respect for Spade to do a monologue in front of those three wise guys. He did awesome!
Norm's "borderline" comment was gold. I love that Dennis laughs the hardest at the dumber jokes that kinda bomb. Great show. LEGENDS...Assemble!
can u explain norm's borderline? i didnt get it
@@mili3212 It's not "borderline racist", it's just "racist"
@@ramdam974 oh lmao im a complete dumbass
@@mili3212 Usually Norm doesn't really care about political correctness as long as there's truth to what is said. So in this case I was half expecting him to say "that is in no way racist"...but it WAS, so he said "That is in no way BORDERLINE!" That little twist was brilliant.
@Business Ethics The joke implies that all Chinese people look alike (a Western stereotype)
That delayed Wheel of Fortune crack by Norm had me crying. I haven’t laughed that hard in years.
RIP Norm, kept it a secret til the end just so he could have fun with the boys. And he's effortlessly the funniest man alive.
No one even mentioned how they joked Norm on not looking as good as what he used to "got a little paul newman going on there Norm, what the fuck happened?" all this while he was dying of FUCKING CANCER. But because Norm is completely confident and happy with himself, he's able to focus on immediately delivering a super witty response, instead of thinking about the fact that they insulted him for something that he was dying of that they didn't even know he had.
@@sammysappy I noticed that as well; but it's not Spade's or anyone else's fault. Norm was a brilliant guy, and I'm sure he realized people were going to crack on his appearence, so he probably braced himself for it. His smile never breaks during the joke. He loved every second because he got to laugh with his friends and not worry about them taking it easy on him due to a disease he couldn't control. Not trying to argue with you by the way, just wanted to express my opinion.
@@sammysappy They didn't "insult" him 🙄
I think that's how a lot of men show affection for one another, and maybe some women to.
Imagine if they new during this segment, I think it would have made it less easy for them to be funny.
"Why would I ever do jokes in front of you guys." I died.
I love how Dennis Miller is gloating in sheer joy....sitting front and center... having the time of his life ....watching David Spade squirm in his monolog
Miller is fantastic when he’s together with Norm and Spade. There is a strange connection they all have. They’re at their best together.
Maybe cause Dennis discovered both of them and your right. Their chemistry is off the charts.
"Have you seen Paul Newman lately?"
That's why Norm is a legend. Such a quick wit!
This reminded me of my first job as a waiter, my dad and two uncles came for dinner and just berated me for an hour. Freaking awesome.
Bet they did more to you for an hour
You know it is a great memory and will only get greater !
oh that's sweet
Every few months I end up on a Norm Macdonald Binge. So here's me clocking in to this video.
- 14th September 2021 (RIP Norm)
I love how you try to write your comment as if you wrote it 5 years ago and you updated it once Norm passed- trying to act as if you've been a fan and actually cared about him for a while. Of course when you look at the post date of the comment it says 4 weeks ago and he died exactly then- 4 weeks ago on September 14th. You clearly don't actually care about Norm, you just want likes on CZcams, which is quite pathetic.
@@sammysappy I love (not) that you care about it so much to comment. Well if you must do purity tests so much as a "fan" of Norm then I implore you to have a look at some other Norm clips and you might find the same comment made prior to his death. And the edits are whenever I add another date or maybe there was just a typo. I come back to Norm clips after I go through some tough times and decided since it does happen every few months I'd try record any time I do see a Norm clip. I don't necessarily binge all of them but just enough to raise my spirits. So yeah. You can fuck off with purity tests.
@@sammysappy gosh, why so sensitive? is it that time of the month again?
I love Miller man, he's such a fan of all the comedy that's in front of him, all the time
+Robert Fowler
I appreciate that he genuinely laughs at other comedians' jokes, and gives them praise when warranted. He's a very intelligent man, but doesn't act egotisctical, which makes him that much more lovable.
I liked him back when, but then he started to become a grumpy old politically oriented weirdo
@@opaljk4835 .

The camel, cow and a donkey joke was amazing.

Norm wasn't just a comedian. Norm Macdonald is a lifestyle! RIP Norm.
Damn I miss Norm. I for the past few years have watched him over and over on CZcams at night, in a way to just crack up over and over. Could have been the same clips I watched 4 nights in a row, and it never mattered. I usually don't pay much attention to when celebrities pass away but this was one of them that really hurt. I absolutely loved this guy and the thing that hurts the most is I don't think he knew how much he was respected and admired. I hate that we wait for people to die before telling them how great they are or how much they mean to us. I really wish Norm knew that and it breaks my heart to know he was battling that son of a bitch cancer for so long. Norm was one of a kind and there will never be someone like him. I wish he was still here selfishly, but damnit it's true. RIP Norm. You are the greatest of all time to me.
I saw a clip of Norm on The View or some such and basically apologizing for his comments made towards Rosanne Barr and you could tell it took a lot out of him.Norm being humble was tough to "View"!
