@@Ric_93 don't take the literaly because i normaly watch 20 minute long videos so thats normal for me. Also a ten minute long video is compleeeeetly fine. But i wont take back that the video is sweet, because it is.

That intro is super epic!.
My only idea is, add something to make the grid based movement more important to the gameplay. Maybe tiles that can be stepped on only once. Or stuff like that for special cookies and such

Thank you for the suggestion 🙌🏻 I was thinking of tiles that slow you down or speed you up, I really like the idea of tiles you can step on only once. It can make for some interesting puzzles

Thank you Krevz 😁 I'm going for a very simple art style with not a lot of details, the choice of the palette has played a major role too! I started with more saturated colors, then switched to more pastel ones

that stereo mic on your phone makes for a psychedelic listening experience on headphones! Consider changing record mode to mono, or merging to mono in post.
I apologize for the bad quality Kevin, I've been really struggling with the audio in general. I've recently got a microphone so hopefully the audio will be better in the future!
Great Vid how bout adding a social feature in the game maybe at the checkpoint you make it an adressbook where u can leave a msg or interact with others could be interesting. Your game idea and art is great keep it up.

nice game!, i love the concept, cool art style you have, but the game looks plane, it looks like it is going in slow motion, the player could get bored really fast so i suggest you make the gameplay faster, or mabey add the ability to fight enemies to get cookies,or farm cookies, or cook cookies, or fish cookies,etc..., yeah it is really cool, also you can definatly do a game what are you talking about? why do you question your abilities? you are great! keep it up! i want to see how the game will look on realese :)
One idea: What is you could eat your cookies?? You loose points but get some battery.

I think an arcade mode would be cool. Your battery is set to 30 by default and goes down whenever you collect a battery pack your time goes down, and your goal is to get the most cookies

I actually had a fixed joystick at the beginning, but it felt a bit restrictive. I'll wait for the first feedback and then update it if needed ;)

Thank you for the suggestion Nanu! I'm still experimenting a bit with it, I used to have a fixed joycon but then it was a bit problematic for left-handed users so I switched to the joycon being anywhere you hold, I'll see how this will change based on the first feedbacks once the Alpha is out!

Maybe add some transition when entering portals? Just getting teleported is kinda bland.

Hello Steve! I'm very pleased with Godot tbh, it's pretty easy to use and I can code simple games very efficiently. I don't see a reason to switch to another engine
