Gwimblys appearance in Tony Hawk 2 had me literally screaming as a kid, I thought that was so cool.
He was so hard to unlock!, i never realized he was playable until a short time ago!.
I unlocked him on accident and none of my friends believed he was in the game
I remember that! Every time you would do a trick he would say his “ooh-ooh-ooh” catch phrase. Man those were good memories🥹

If Goncharov (1973) is so good, why isn't there a Goncharov (1973) 2?
Gwimbly:

I think if we all collectively gaslight ourselves, we might actually physically manifest a timeline where gwimbly was real.

@@scottiecurrie7927 I mean, honestly, i don't get what's the idea behind this "edgy" stage in gaming history. I know it's ok for game to evolve and "mature" with their audience, but this was rediculously graphic. Like, snuff type realistic. This looked like some cartel execution. Really fucked me up as kid.
@@user-qn2og5lg7p Idk, I think you might have fallen for Lord Gwimblor's manipulation. Throughout Gwimbley 3, he was manipulating Gwimbley into betraying his friends for creamed corn, all in an attempt to make him think he's saving them. That Gwimbley Gun scene at the end was a rejection of all attempts at manipulation, even if Lord Gwimblor was finally telling the truth at the end. He struck out four times as much that game, so although the death was graphic, he brought it upon himself

"Gwimbly: The Creamed Corn Caper" is, of course, an all-time classic, but I feel that "Gwimbly and the Pirates of Dert Tee Wat Tur" is underrated.
Pirates of Dert Tee Wat Tur never really felt as fully baked as Creamed Corn Capers for me, personally. Some of the new areas felt more empty, not as fully thought through, but I do admit, it did some things right like the new boss fights. Although, the placement of the Tomar gems and the sheer amount of backtracking really weighs it down for me. I do like the Flumble Flee Falls area, though. It’s pretty good! Plus, the finale is worth the bad too, in my book. Too bad most don’t play the whole game.
@ShadoWizard142 personally I found gwimbly: cream of the cropped corn to he rather iconic and the graphics were so ahead of its time not to mention it was when the iconic gwimbly gun was first introduced
@@DrunkenFlower28hey come some of the new areas are great! The pyramids and the pentagon were amazing in the first but the underwater submarine level imo has a killer soundtrack!

There was originally a crossover with Bungie’s Marathon were Gwimbly and the Security Officer fight off a new alien threat. The idea was canned because many of Marathon’s concept arts of new aliens and stories were extremely dark, so it was separated and this concept of Marathon would become Marathon: Durandal while Gwimbly instead had a crossover with Crash Bandicoot for the kids.
Honestly wish Gwimbly’s crossover with Bungie’s Marathon was not cancelled.
We all can relate to Gwimbly ☺️
Gwimbly RPG is the most slept on Gwimbly game. That was the only game with a fleshed out story that expanded the Gwimbky universe and explained lots of his core components like his love for creamed corn. Plus the ending was HELLA emotional I cried

No one ever talks about it though, but growing up I'd spend every car ride playing it.
I can't get over the lose of Mr Millipede's va. I recently read his biography and man every page had me in tears. I HATE that for like a week this worked on me. I was almost fully convinced that gwimbly was just some obscure video game character that I’d never heard of and somehow entered the public domain super fast and smiling friends made an episode about him
I remember the first gwimbly game being revolutionary for taking advantage of the PS1's ful capability. Back then, because of limited hardware, loading into new areas took a while on many games. Gwimbly took a unique approach by having Gwimbly interact with the loading screams to not break the game's flow. When going to a different level, Gwimbly would ride Mr Milipede in the sky BUT players could actually steer him in different directions as he descended, making it feel like we were taking him to the new location. This allowed a near seamless transition between levels and is one of the first games to have an interactable loading screen
"Gwimbly 6: The Gwimbling" Is easily the best one in the series. There is no debate in that.
We Miss Ya, Gwimbly!
