I believe Kartel is guilty, but the court erred by not dismissing the tainted jury and ordering a retrial, which usually ends in the accused's favor. The authorities know the chance of getting a conviction in a retrial is slim, so they are using hyperbole to confuse us. The law gives judges standing to use their discretion. Of course, the judge could have granted Kartel bail based on his medical condition-they do it regularly. But as Nuffy said, the system and its minions stonewall the artist. Still, they can not hold him for much longer. Free the World Boss. As far as Isat is concerned, he based his conversation on the law. The law says you should not detain an unconvicted person for unduly long periods. Kartel and his coaccused are no longer convicted felons. So, they should be granted bail.

@@Dewdrops7560, My friend, you are misinformed and naive. The Privy Council quashed the conviction of the accused men and sent the case back to the Court of Appeal to decide whether the men should face a retrial.
