Tried the Luna/GX2 and the sole plate was enough to make me go for the new preds instead of them even though the phantom GX1 was my favorite boot the Nike makes.

Tried the boots on field and I feel a bit too slippery when playing in them rather to the fast and amazing studs on the gx1, I think the gx1 stud pattern and grip upper is the best ever. I liked how they were a bit thicker even though a few people hated them I liked that part of it and I will most likely wear the gx1 for quite a few years
Amazing video once again. Could you please make one comparison between Predator 24 Elite Turf and Nike Phantom GX 2 Pro Turf. And, in general, please make some video on turf shoes.. The latest iterations come with a price tag of 140€ and there is no one reviewing these boots outside of Thailand or Bangladesh..
I've got both, the gx 2 in AG so both soleplates aren't an issue. The reason I love the gx and certainly not the gx 2 is the added volume, the gx feels wrapped around my feet while the gx 2 just feels there and I honestly feel as if it affects my game. Get the gx 1 boys.
I know you mentioned that new stud pattern not be as preferable as the stud patterns on the previous model. What are your thoughts on the GX 2 in the AG stud pattern though?
Do you feel this makes the GX 2 miles ahead as a better option than the previous GX 1 model?
With the same soleplate, I prefer the GX 2 overall. Are they WAY better though, definitely not. The “improvements” are minimal and the experience of playing in the boots, as well as the performance characteristics are largely the same

I was looking to get Nike Phatom GX 1 gripknit because they look real nice, ive heard great things about them and i have a wide foot and i heard they are great for wide feet. So i went into store to see if they had them so i could try em on but they didnt, they only had the gx 2, so are the gx 1 and gx 2 the exact same size fitting in width especially, because when i tryed them they were to narrow width wise? Any help would be appreciated.

The gx2 has more volume compared the the og gx. It's a considerable difference. I own both and the gx fits like a tight glove. The gx2 has alot of material left over
They also forget to tell you the most important factor is the inner liner is different and doesn't shape as well as the og gx to your foot.
Gx2 is super wide for my foot. When I put my foot in it and took a step the material on the inside of my foot basically almost folded over 😮
its for wide foot so you are probably not wide foot

That 9 grams difference will not make any sense in speed.. i mean if you play on firm ground, you will have an additional 100 grams of ground with grass under your soles between your studs. Lets be real, that little goblin of unisport, jAyMiKe 🤡, is always advertising the most expensive models like supercars, and that you can get the newest elites better for running/sprint instaed of the previous version of phantom gx.

Neither feel much like the GT to be honest. The Puma Future 7 Ultimate would be a good choice if you’re looking for something similar in feel 👍
