  • Though most academics insist that the megalithic works at Ollantaytambo in Peru was solely constructed by the Inca, this video will show you that the Inca in fact reconstructed an older work. Join us in 2017:

Beautiful place ! The way the ancients could work the mega stones is amazing . There must have been a great civilization before the Inca . There are some great stone works all over the world that you have shown us that is incredible . Lost technology .

90% of the site has been heavily reconstructed and turned into a tourist attraction. The megalithic construction is Inca, everything else is contemporary reconstruction. They just clean it up and made it pretty for the eye of the paying tourist. The visit is highly recommended if you can read between the lines of the history. Great video, appreciate that you shared all this with the public...everything else...thing twice...

@@sven6418 That is a total lie. Peru does not even invest that much on tourism. The Inca terracing that makes up most of the site is all over Peru and it is Inca. Peru does not even get 4 million tourists a year and in none of its tourist videos is Ollantaytambo even promoted. Don't lie!

The difference between the big blocks and the little filler stones: The big blocks where put in with a certain technology, over time that technology was lost, and repair work was done with smaller stone. These ruins can span 30,000 years or more, and not the 5 minutes everyone thinks it is.

These people built with "Earthquakes" in mind. They used the "Fill", in between the large stones, as shock absorbers, to relieve the stress on the larger stones. It was easier to repair the smaller stones, than the larger ones.

    1. It shows the difference between Inca and Megalithic time periode.
    2. It shows clear, that this place was rebuilt after an huge incident that bring interlocked Walls down.
    3. It shows that the Inca can´t bring the Megalithic Stones together like in the past. They would if they can !
    4. It shows, at 7:48 the Stone is "POURED". I´m not an expert but i saw a lot of Videos of this topic.
    5. It shows wonderful people :) walking with the spirit of the old ones.

I believe that you are correct about the original structures being far older than the later Inca stuff. But I believe a more important question is how they lifted these 50 ton stones to the high point of this wall. There is a giant stair stepped area leading up to it that I believe could be the way it was accomplished. The cut out grid pattern in it demonstrates that the excavated rock was not needed, but the stair step was. This could have been used as a lock lift system to float the stones "up" there. How else was it done with no space for cranes? For a demo. of this process go to James Northcutt on youtube. Would like to send my research to you Brien.

Brian, I think since your stuck as far as knowing who built the megalithic structure, you should focus on the overlooked area, underground..almost certainly there is connecting structures, likely CITIES and people, in fact the megalithic structures suggest they are apex structures themselves like antennas, like dish collectors, like connecting portals, like exaught outlets...Thus, use technology to determine what's underground, use anything you can.

When I imagine the 'Ancient Technology' involved regardless of the reason they were built...... it not only leaves me with a sense of Awe but, also a strong sense of fear. Regardless of the time periods involved... Common sense tells me we should all be very wary when we come across anything we can not replicate or reproduce, not to mention fully understand. Why do I get the impression it is assumed the creators of such Megalithic Structures would be Benign? Any comments on this line of thought Brien?
