    Thanks for all your great videos. I was 12 years old when I discovered the wonders of Peru in the February 1964 issue of National Geographic magazine. "The Five Worlds of Peru". When I was in my 20s, I planned a month trip to Peru. That month turned into three years. Whether you go on one of Brian's tours or go by yourself, you won't be disappointed. Just do it! It will be the adventure of your life.

    I've always pondered the possibility that "giants" was a misinterpretation of "greats" or "of great standing" etc. Good to hear that reflected from an expert.

    • @stephenphillips4984
      @stephenphillips4984 Před 4 lety

      Doubtful. In the biblical context, the word "Nephilim" was not simply a metaphor for an all-human warrior but meant the offspring of the "Sons of God" (regarded by Jews as a species of angels (the Bene Elohim) who revolted against God) and human women. That makes them more than just great warriors (the literal translation of the Hebrew word "gibor"). Admittedly, there is disagreement amongst translators of the Bible. But the following passage indicates that the Nephilim really were physical (rather than metaphorical) giants: "“there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them” (Num 13:33). This passage cannot be construed in any other way than that the Nephilim were very tall, as physical giants are.

    Walking among all the tons of granite rocks, do you FEEL that you are walking in a dense energy field? It's what I feel just watching this...drawn to the small pieces to pick up and feel the rocks, and hard pressed to not slip a small piece into my pocket, which I'm sure is a no-no!!! My dad was a master stone mason working with large granite slabs, cutting, shaping and sand blasting designs into the stone...back in the 40's and 50's...I have buckets full of red, gray, blue and some black granite pieces. That was absolutely magnificent trek...thank you for taking us along.

    I bet if you kept climbing Brian, up around the actual solid rock you would find some cut outs. Where you were , at the bottom, looks like where the broken fragments had fallen and slid down the slope....and or, thousands of years of fallen, avalanche debris have built up with grass on top, harder to tell than the quarry in Aswan Egypt where nothing grows. The cut outs have to be somewhere right?

    Brien nailed it! Giants of mind! Exactly, there is your most important point. No written or oral record could be, before the cataclysm, we were beings of pure thought. Only a telepathic store of knowledge existed. After we developed a closed mind ruled by an ego as a coping mechanism, possibly a result of our DNA mutation caused by a pulse of light. This is why we needed to create written and oral forms of communication e.g 'language'. It would have been a strange concept to those antediluvian folk. Thanks

    Excellent expedition!! I agree: Incas didn't have laser. You have shown us this well. All megalithic contains elements like: comprised sound used in different equipment like saws but also to levitate stones. The people that were there before the Incas also used Industrial Laser to cut stones. Comprised sound could liquidise stone or just make the stone into perfect powder ...Some elongated skull? yes, other types of skulls? yes because the people who have been working to make those installations were their selves from different races; not human. The Incas must have been very proud of those " giant minds" yes.

  • @erickeith1466
    @erickeith1466 Před rokem

    Great work. We need more people like you so we can stop turning a willful blind eye to the true past. Anyway, the gig up on how these ancient megalithic structures were made. The vast majority of it was geopolymer made from locally sources aggregate. Prior to the discovery/mass use of hydrating Portland cement, ancient people made geopolymer concrete by mixing the sand and aggregate with fly ash or slag, and then activating it with an alkali such as sodium hydroxide. Most of these alkalis are the "secret sauce" for many of these cultures as the type and quantity of alkalis was unique to the type of synthetic stone blocks that were being made. What is not unique were the methodologies, which by itself is very telling. For example, this is why you see common features like "nubs" and seemly impossibly tight seams. We now know the larger blocks, especially those used for foundations, were liquid slurries poured into molds. This yielded high density and high compression strength. Smaller and irregularly shaped blocks, such as those used in polygonal stacking, were of a dryer mix packed into cloth bags. When cured hard enough, blocks could be removed from the bags. This is where you get the marshmallow like blocks as the anything in the bag would swell a bit. The ubiquitous nubs were likely fastening points required for various support structures during building and/or footholds for climbing as the stone could be worked while curing. Or possibly mounting points for artwork or amenities that have since been broken loose. The only thing for certain is the nubs had to be fully cured to be useful, which means they couldn't be cut off very easily, so they got left...to confound us over the ages. Lastly, the tight joint work is the result of working the joints prior to a full cure. If you look at modern plaster and mortar techniques, and you consider cast geopolymer blocks, it all makes sense.

  • @howardfreeland5595
    @howardfreeland5595 Před 4 lety +2

    The scoop marks are very common in the old structures in India. There are fantastic large cut outs in solid granite there. I have seen videos of other locations in the world with the exact same markings. There must have been culture with an advanced method to make those marks and move such large rocks that we cannot do today that either lived or traveled world wide. As far as giants, I have read that Denisovans were between 6 and 7' tall. (From skeletons in Indian mounds along the Kanawah River in West Virginia. "Denisovan Origins" by Andew Collins)) I believe that it would still be impossible for 7' people to move significantly larger (think pre-Inca megaliths) as opposed to people 5' tall.

    Brien, they may have used natural fissures in the rock to add water. I''m not sure of the temps at that altitude but I'm sure it gets cold. If we go back far enough in time, those elevations may have add ice year round, may be how they got the material down to the lower elevations, used the ice to sled the stones. I think we need to apply how industry works today, people are people no matter the epoch. Our iron ore comes from certain places, transported to others for processing, smelting, then depending molded or extruded into finished products. Seldom all done in one location. No different is the textile ind., silicone production, crude oil to refining finished product. Maybe we're making an error looking for the whole thing in one place. We know the sea level has risen at least once on a cataclysmic scale. If the center of worldwide high culture is now submerged then what we're looking at in sites like Cusco and others, are the centers of mining and manufacturing, not where the construction is. No different then Pittsburgh or Detroit back in their hay day. Modern cities all built around mfg, what Detroit used to make finished products, Pittsburgh supplied the steel but the Ore came from mining elsewhere and it goes on and on. Same thing with crude oil and location of refining, textile mills hundreds of miles from where cotton was grown. It would not surprise me if these sites pre date the Younger Dryas. If so, then ice had to play a major role at those elevations.

    IMHO...the Megalithic Builders lived during a much colder time (Younger-Dryas) and therefore utilized the abundant ‘cold energy’ potential of the environment to extract, cut, form, and move the large stones around the landscape. Sliding mass on ice roads is relatively easy and convenient...as is using the built up ice to lift & lower the largest monoliths into place.
    Thx for another compelling adventure.
