    One of the principles of rotoscoping which I learnt for 3D footage rotoscoping was to split your masks (strokes) based on the character's body. So keep the hands, head, legs, torso, separate and animate them every frame. Also use interpolation to reduce the number of redraws.
    Separating your masks leads to a more refined and easy to manage workflow

    Fantastic! I think rotoscope is almost a lost art. It reminds me of the Ralph Bakshi movies like Wizards and American Pop.

    Love your style. I’m trying to duplicate this work flow for a family video. But, at 2:42 of video where you create that transparent canvas layer I get stuck. When a click box fill and drag from top left over as you do, only the bottom of my video image shows the white canvas. Also, even if I try to draw over that my lines aren’t showing…any tips to get me past this? Thx!

    hey there ... i have an issue with onion skin ... when i draw a new stroke ..it disappears .. so i am only able to see it for a moment only .. that way i can use that feature fully.. do u have any solution for that ?

    nice!, do u recommend blender or toon boon on this kind ...for a beginner?

    • @TeamMiracles
      @TeamMiracles  Před 2 lety +1

      Blender is free and versatile so you could give it a try at any point in your learning journey :) Toon Boom is used by many studios so starting with that would also make sense depending on where you want to go with your software proficiency :)

    How did you control what frame rate the source video was in before uploading it to blender?

    • @tcapozzoli
      @tcapozzoli Před rokem

      I had the same question ( albeit a year later) i couldn’t figure it out so just adjusted the FPS in Blender to 60 because my source was moving to slow.

    Hi Friends i have a trouble
    I have a 2D animation with colors in blender but at the moment of render looks black and white . I don't know why , please help me .

      @zephaniahdejene1746 Před 2 lety

      Tip # 1: Make sure your layers are in order
      #2 : make sure your output is on mixed
      #3: try deleting any mask layers
      #4 : if none of these work just know I'm not an animation pro
