  • Hey hey! Long time no see. Most of you who follow me on here follow me on instagram as well so you know that in the mean time i've released another free pattern. For those who don't follow me on there, it's a undies pattern and you can check it out here cool-stitches.com/shop/peachy... 🍑
    Anywaaaays, that's not what i came here to talk to you about. I have a new free pdf pattern for you! It's winter here in Portugal but I'm already longing for the long summer days which led to this quick and easy crop top.
    The Twisty Crop Top is a (as the name says) crop top. A simple basic
    with a twist in the back. It features thick straps and a square neckline.
    Perfect for hot summer days and a quick project that you can make
    over and over again since it’s super fast and easy!
    The pattern is currently available in the sizes 34 to 48. I’m aware of how not size inclusive it is but I’m still learning about grading for bigger sizes so please bare with me!
    The pattern comes with written instructions but if like me you're more of a visual learner here's a quick video on how to make it!
    You can find the pattern here: cool-stitches.com/shop/twisty...
    *for personal use only.
    I'd love to see what you make with this one so if you end up making it just use #madewithcoolstitches and #twistycroptop or tag me @coolstitches
    Browse through my site to see my other patterns: cool-stitches.com/

    This pattern is great. Just one tip for sizing: Size at least one size up if you're from the north of Europe. Sizing is not the same in all of Europe. For example: a size 38 in Portugal is considered a size 36 here in the Netherlands. And since there is no size guide included with the pattern I thought this info might help :) Furthermore it was super easy!

    Such a lovely pattern, made up two already! The neckline and back are perfect, the only change I make is to move the straps in a little at the back

    • @CoolStitches
      @CoolStitches  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank yooou 🥰 a jersey with 5% elastane will work perfectly! You can also try rib knits! As long as the fabric has a bit of stretch it'll work 🤗 all of the fabric requirements are in the instructions provided with the pattern!

    anyone confused about how the notches for the back piece? i don't understand where the notches start and how it's centered on the back piece.

    • @pandahness
      @pandahness Před 10 měsíci

      i see the notch on the left side, and the sizing notch on the right side. how do i ensure that's in the middle? i am new to sewing and don't see how i can center that with just the pattern pdf

    • @puppyyeol3745
      @puppyyeol3745 Před 10 měsíci

      I guess we fold the material when cutting the back piece. Then you'll have a 4 cm notch on the left part and 4 cm notch on the right part of a piece. So you'll be able to sew between them

      I guess you have to add some type of closure then. a side zipper or buttons.
