Great review, many thanks. The creaking grip is apparently a known niggle that others have also reported on. I do recall one owner saying that they cured it by removing it and placing tape on the inside of of the grip.
If I had a gun that had that much play in components I’d bin it, that’s what happens when you replace wood with plastic, not worth the money in my opinion….. AA are a much better choice for the money, I know I’ve had both. I’m afraid if you can move the grip that far that easily it’s a million miles from “ solidly fixed” just saying.
STILL a heavy gun. Not comfortable to walk around with without good sticks and a sling. However, i havent been able to locate a sling and i'm not into drilling my stock on my new gun. Have you had any thoughts about a sling?
Paul if you don't turn on the torch light with night vision scopes can you still see a animal in complete darkness so you know what it is when shooting or do you need the torch light on.
Me too buddy I think they are but ugly’ I’d be buying new stock for it as I’m sure they’ll drop into a sporter or KT stock, there seems to be always second hand stocks on the market and Edgar brothers usually have them in sometimes in new condition or slightly marked. That’s the way I’d be going but I wouldn’t buy a bullpup in any from.
@@noelwallace5257 Another place to get stocks is a little gun shop in Darlington called kit Pongo’s & the Hogman, he’s always got stocks in one form or another. I bought a Weihrauch hw97 blue laminate and like it so much I bought a beech stock from him for around £60!!! Which I thought was bloody cheap and it was in mint condition too. I didn’t want to damage the blue laminate and before anyone asks well why did you buy a blue laminate, well it was just by chance over a pint of beer, a lad from a neighbouring village asked if I knew of anyone who wanted to buy one in 22 as he had one to sell and was only six months old and hadn’t even had a tin of pellets through it and he still had it in its original box, and I only paid him between £260 or £280 I can’t remember which but he needed cash and I was actually looking for a 97k but not necessarily a blue laminate but at that price I knew I had a bargain and with two stocks I’ve the best of both worlds. But the laminate does look incredible though.

It couldn't have a screw/bolt at the rear of the grip as the trigger linkages run through that area.

Never used one in anger but I've shouldered one at my local shop . It's like witchcraft how the weight dissapears when you put in your shoulder.
I’ve got a extension to go onto the rail, but the bipods I have fit on the original. 👍
Looks nice
Needs a stock like the taipan airgun stocks then I would but one tomorrow
Good review - have you got a link to the Accutac picatinny rail?
@@54Howie I got it from optics warehouse
@@fieldsportcymru4636 Did you have to drill more holes as I see that rail is for 48mm bolt span and the existing holes are are less than 30mm apart
What pellets are you having most success with?
JSB EXACTS work very very well in it
