You can hit Command R to Repeat Events, much faster than Option Drag. To Group Chords, just hit Command J to Join. You can work VERY FAST using the key commands instead of right click and clicking a billion times
Indeed. Thanks for the tip.
There's currently a bug causing Command-R to crash Logic Pro 11 on occasion. Not sure if it's macOS version or hardware version specific.
New subscriber here. Thanks for sharing. I had a career as a performing blues artist, also as a music and vocal coach. My most serious voice students wanted to became artists and needed access to studio recording. Driven to fulfill that need, I became a recording studio owner and engineer for the first time in the summer of 2020 after the shutdown. I have learned alot in 4 years, but I still have much to learn. I am looking forward continuing this journey and along with your guidance, helping my students/artists reach their goals. Best wishes always.
Thanks and glad it was helpful.
A perfect video on how to create an arrangement as quickly as possible. thanks a lot !!! Libor
You're welcome.
Thank you for this great demo! As a new Logic Pro user (M4 iPad Pro), quick, focused demos like this are SO helpful. I’ve been a Windows-based Studio One user for years, and used Band in a Box for song writing/arranging. I’m hoping to unify my workflow with one product, and this helps me see how that might be possible. Who knows, I may even convert to a Mac!
Excellent tips - thanks!
Awesome stuff Greg thanks.
Thank You.
Another awesome video. Id be
tempted in the Bridge to try using slash chords to try and get the bass to play something different when it jumps up the octave.
Indeed. Great idea. perhaps I try that in another video.
Great video. Does anyone make pre made Logic projects songs with chord packs in a style consistency with the Studio Musician types , Pop, Funk, etc. the style of . So rather than build your own, you can just load up a project and start changing it .
Not that I know of, but I'm sure someone will soon.
This Logic Chord Track is a joke. 🧐
Would like to have the professional Cubase Chord Track!!! 😢
yes, there's a lot that has to be added to the logic chord track. Hopefully, they will have more stuff over time.
it sounds like ikea music, flat and boring
Maybe, but I think that’s missing the point. This strikes me as being a very quick way to sketch out ideas that you can easily play around with and build upon to develop into something really interesting.
Next time I'm Ikea, I will have to take note of the music. Thanks for your input.
@@gregkocis it's mostly harmless anonymous flat and tasteless little background muzak done , maybe?, on purpose for ikea
