With the stick tip options, you're hearing almost no difference because you had the "stick volume" knobs at almost zero. Turn those up and the different tips HUGELY impact the sound. Made at oversight myself at first. I use that feature to get a strong snare transient without relying on loads of compression. Very useful as a metal producer.

I personally don't like what they did to the drummer kits in Logic Pro 11. Most of the new default signal chains are way overcooked (too much compression, eq, distortion, etc) compared to the legacy kits. The legacy kits (as well as the GarageBand equivalents) sound better (cleaner) to me than in Logic 11. The new editing features in 11 like manual patterns and individual drum control are definitely a welcomed addition, but the default drum sounds and even the fill behavior has changed for the worse (in my opinion). I love/hate Apple for things like this. If it ain’t broke...

Eureka! This is a perfect workaround for the fact that the snare side stick is SO much louder than the snare center in any given kit. You can't change their volumes independently. If you change one, the other changes with it. But with this hack you can dedicate a track to the two different snare sounds and just lower the intensity of the track with the side stick! Fixed! Thank you!!! 👌

I found messing with the swing and complexity/ intensity sliders really helps it to feel original.

The 1176 will probably be the modern dynamics and la2a will be vintage setting.

i gues the problem with this is these apps are exclusive to apple users, i would have used them alot, when there would have bin an android version

I hear we can import other voices, xan we use them as a learning curve but obviously not to release, because you know your gona get no response from an artist if we can experiment and learn with. 3. Thank you for this great demo! As a new Logic Pro user (M4 iPad Pro), quick, focused demos like this are SO helpful. I’ve been a Windows-based Studio One user for years, and used Band in a Box for song writing/arranging. I’m hoping to unify my workflow with one product, and this helps me see how that might be possible. Who knows, I may even convert to a Mac!

Similar to my all time favorite Autotune EFX v3(!) which isn’t supported on modern computers anymore. I tried all the new Autotune stuff from Antares but it sucks. I can’t take Antares seriously anymore. So I’m happy to test this plugin. Already using the rider from Nuro.

it's kind of funny how the "iZotope T-Pain Effect v1.02" VST from (2011) does cleaner sounding AutoTune and more frequent AutoTune warble / wobble and flutter effects on vocals than the "Nuro Audio Xpitch" VST and the "Antares Auto-Tune Pro v11" VST from (2024), and the "Slate Digital MetaTune" VST from (2021) lol.
