Don’t forget that McKennie is able to play in many different positions in the midfield: DM, CM, AM and also RM. I agree he’s not an upgrade on any of the players Spurs already have but he brings energy, goals and assists (10 assists last season) in many different roles both from the start and as a sub

Football daily’s fall of is actually crazy. This is a channel with almost 2M subs yet they barely get more than 40k views. I really missthe old days where we had a lot of variety in the video’s but also the format. It now just the same 2/3 guys talking about the same thing with the same formats. I really hope football daily can pick it up for the new season❤

The philogene transfer rumour is fake. His agent started the rumour to create interest. The only reason the agent was in barca was because he was looking for talent in la marcia.

Context on Philogene from Villa fan. As a youth player he was rated as high as they come, Bayern (under Flick), and other major Euro clubs were after him, so links aren’t new. Last season Emery wanted to keep him and he would have played regularly off the bench, but to his credit he wanted to start every week and did very well in Championship. His on the ball talent is very rare.
I have absolutely no idea where you got Rabiot to Liverpool from. I have seen a lot of weird rumours, but this was the first time for that link.

Now I have these questions with Liverpool stocked heavily on the left with Diaz, who scored an amazing goal for Colombia when they beat Panama to get to the semis of Copa America.
Gakpo, who is having a good Euros for the Netherlands and is one of the top goalscorers in the Euros and Nunez, who is also having a good time at the Copa America for Uruguay.
They dont need Gordon.
But on the right-hand side, I do feel Liverpool need strengthening.
Salah is ageing father time is a friend to no-one and they are going to have to seriously think about replacing him in the long term.
Whether it is this summer or next but ideally I would bring in a right sided player this window and have him learn under Salah for a season before replacing him in the long term.
As for my team Spurs I agree Weston McKennie is not the type of player I would want as i feel we have to many players like him in Bentancur Bissouma who is more adventurous then a conventional 6 Sarr and now Gray.
Personally I would target a player like Wieffer who is more defensively minded to protect the defense as that other then set pieces I felt that was a major weakness.
I would love Eze as he is more of a skilful driving player and i would play him as the box 2 box in the middle of a midfielder three with Wieffer in the hole Maddison on his left and Eze on the right.
But if Spurs can't get an Eze I would go for a player like Baumgartner from RB Lipzeig who can play anyway across the midfield and provide a geniune goal threat from the midfield which in my opinion I feel Spurs are lacking.
Gordon to L'pool would be a strange one, I agree with the FD lads! We have too many options off the left. As for Rabiot, this is something we've seen rumored for the last few seasons, and I understand it. I'd personally like to see Gravenberch incorporated in that position, rather than signing an older, and historically difficult player. Cheers mates, great video as always.

I actually think Philogene move would’ve been worth a gamble as there’s no way there targeting him as anything more than a squad player initially. Hansi Flicks familiarity with swashbuckling football might also suit a direct winger like him. On the player’s side makes more sense to move to Barca and be virtually guaranteed of a prem move if it doesn’t work out there anyway. Better than going to the prem first and never quite reaching this level to attract interest from a global powerhouse again
Nah, Arthur's best season was with Gremio winning the Copa Libertadores. Europeans never even watch highlights of south American football, but during that time he was a beast, and absolutely destroyed Lanus in the final. Pure class, it's sad that he was such a flop in Europe

@@deangreen2567 That's one season, De Ligt & Martinez have had injury issues for 3 or 4 seasons neither can be relied on to be first choice. Martinez would be fine for a squad player he's only on 120k that's squad player wages if was only meant to play 25-30 games a season that's totally fine. If someone is being paid like 12 million a season like De Ligt is reported set to earn at United only John Stones earns more than that as a centre back in the whole league it would be absolutely terrible value for money, why do you think Bayern are willing to let him go for 35 millon?
@@jamesthomas6164 Nonesense. De Ligt missed four games for Bayern in the 2022-23 season due to injury.
The season before that (2021-22) he missed two games for Juventus the entire season due to injury.
You have to go back to 2020/21 to find a long list of injury, and most of that was an injured shoulder which hasn’t troubled him since, as well as the C-virus.
He’s had one bad season for injury recently, and that’s last season. If it’s about the money solely, fine, but if you’re accounting for injury, you’d have to condemn a lot of players with the same rule.
I have a feeling these lads dont have a clue about Barcelona and their economics but its hilarious how they think they do. 😂
